The best glue to use for any project is Glue-All by Elmer’s. School glue is watered down and will curl up in a short time. Glue-All can be used on paper and wood, metal, plastic, etc and the price is almost the same. Just a little tip for you, Bethany ❤️
I thought about Modge Podge. Wonder how well that would work. I've loved it when I used it but I also was glueing magazine cut outs to small boxes. But I did a layer of the Modge Podge over the top after glueing everything down which creates like a solid layer over everything. I couldn't peel up a corner of the cutouts if I wanted to. But I've never used it on something like these where you only want it for underneath the cutout

If you didn’t want to use water in your vase you could colored rocks. I’ve mixed food color into rocks salt and it colored the salt and I used that for my vase. ( I just had some in the cabinet. Wanted to see what would happen) Also turn the decor books into storage boxes. So they will be pretty and useful. Loads of UA-cam vids to show you how.

An idea for anyone wanting to make the tray, I think I'm going to take caulking (I just happen to have some, it comes in handy for so many projects and always adds a bit of professional look to things) and fill in the crack where the 2 frames meet so that after its sanded flush (which would be super easy and quick to do, plus applied correctly caulking starts out pretty smooth) and painted it'll look like one solid piece instead of 2 pieces stacked together. If you've never caulked before you just run it down the length of the seam and using a wet rag or a wet finger run your finger over top of it to smooth it out. Wipe off any excess with a damp rag and job done. That seam makes it look messy I guess which isn't something I would want. But Thanks for the idea. It's super cute. I'm gonna make one soon. Great video.

Very cute ideas. I made a tray similar with 3 frames but I glue all 3 pieces of the glass together & covered with wood contact paper from DT. The frames are spray painted gunmetal gray. I have the tray on an end table in my living room.

This is so awesome & creative. I definitely would have used glitter paper for the perfume box instead of paint. You could have a four sided perfume bottle plus it would save time.
