This really is a great video. At the beginning and I saw your diagram/plans I thought… no way I’m gonna be able to do that. But you do such a great job at explaining the system and why you have the holes where you have them. Great explanation. I sent you an email requesting the diagram/plans.
Peter, I have been watching your videos and many others by patrons of your product. This system is my latest purchase for the workshop and am thoroughly looking forward to utilising it on my drop leaf workbench. It is an outstanding example of British ingenuity! Congratulations on your success with it!
I have been waiting for this video so I could build an "Official Parf Top" I have the Parf 2 Kit, (2) Parf Fences and I have made (2) previous tops but I never really have had a pattern that worked well with the two parf fences. I remembered you said in a previous video you were planning to build a new table which would utilize 2 parf fences and now you've done it. Thanks. Now off to my shop to build mine.
Hi Peter, great presentation! I ordered the Parf II system today from TSO Products, looking forward to making the tracksaw cutting station and mft tops for myself. Please send me the plans for both. I'll leave my email address in a comment below. Thank you!
Hi Jason, In order to get plans I need your email address. To find my email address go to my main UA-cam page, click the "About" tab and that leads to my email address. I am told this has to be done on a PC. Cheers. Peter
Hi Alexandre, All of my plans and diagrams are free. Just go to my UA-cam top page, click on "About" and then you will see my email address. Send me an email, stating the plans that you need and I will send them to you. Peter
Hi Craig, Yes, the plans are available. In order to get plans I need your email address. To find my email address go to my main UA-cam page, click the "About" tab and that leads to my email address. I am told this has to be done on a PC. Cheers. Peter
Hello Peter, I have watched several of your videos demonstrating several Festool products and am very impressed with your wood working abilities and demonstrations.. I am relatively new to the finer woodworking shop and have built numerous finished projects. I would like to get from you, your plans on the track saw cutting station
Hi Wes, The plans are free. Just go to my UA-cam top page, click on "About" and then you will see my email address. Send me an email, stating the plans that you need and I will send them to you. Peter
Hi Peter I watched this again as the first "cutting station" I made was a bit off for a couple of the rows. I didn't pay attention to locating the critical first rows carefully enough and certainly didn't clamp the rails. I need to make another one and will be careful to follow your advice precisely to make sure I get it right this time. A bit too much haste initially has made for a lot more work in the end! Mike
Hi Mike, Yes, do take care, mainly ensuring that the 6 mm shoulder of the 3 mm pins is definitely registered in the ruler in the initial layout. Cheers. Peter
Great combination of 30, 45, 60 & 90 degree cutting abilities on one cutting station. I intend to built a very similar cutting station as soon as I sell off the original Part Guide System and upgrade to the mk2 version. I will be requesting a set of plans for the combined cutting station.
Hi Peter, i recently treated myself to a great Xmas gift by purchasing your PARF II JIG system with some bells and whistles to complement it. I’m home with a shoulder injury and have nothing but time but to plan out a multi functional work station that would serve me well. I’m probably going to use a “ Paoson woodworking style multi section work bench” and a interchangeable 20mm work top for different applications.
Hi, I've been watching several videos lately and am now on a waiting list for the MK II Parf Guide System, hopefully within a couple of weeks. I've been planning on building a station, and from watching a few videos on different systems, this system does appear to be the best setup and most accurate across the whole top. I would be most interested in your plans to help guide my design. I'll reply with my email address. Thank you for all the videos explaining the system, the accessories, and usage.
Hello Peter, i am watching your channel since the first episode. You are doing a great job 👏!! Since then, no small thanks to your tool inventing ingenuity, i became a good customer with Axminster. I do own the MK ii and have build some small cutting benches. One irritation i have (and i did already buy a new second 20mm drill) when setting it in the 3mm predrilled hole and starting the cut, it wobbles (it actually shakes the drill guide). This happened with the brand new one out of the box as well. I tried using different drill machines, but did not improve. I did not see your drill guide moving in the video, so i wanted to ask, if you habe any advice? Thx so much, and keep up the fabulous work. RGDS from Germany K.
I have never experienced nor heard of this issue before. At first sight one might think that the chuck of your drill is faulty. You have used a different drill and so that has been eliminated. Please contact Axminster Customer Services. Peter
Thanks Peter for such a thorough and interesting presentation. I am new to the tracksaw/MFT world, but I am truly impressed by the ease and accuracy that it offers. I plan to get the latest version of the new TSC 55 within the upcoming year.
Hi Barry, My tracksaw cutting station is at the centre of my workshop and I tend to use my main bench as a repository for tools. The only exception being the use of the vice on the main bench. Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, great video. I bought the Mk2 system last year and still haven't made it yet. P.S. Enjoyed your book, thank you. I have removed my previous comment because it was showing my email address. Thanks for the plans
Hi Peter, have you thought about creating an email account solely for the request of plans, and list the address in the description. That way people don’t have to share their email on here. I know you said you would delete the comment, but scammers are quick.
Peter I enjoyed your design here I purchased your system and are going to build my first cutting station and would like a copy of your design. Also if I could recommend a design to promote your sales I would recommend you come up with a design utilizing Bench dog UK quad dog hing rail guide. They selling there own tool for drilling the offset holes to place the mounting holes. As your system supports the 48mm offsets you could show that your tool provides the spot on locations that there tool would not be required. If I follow the design correctly first holes 35mm from the edge then next 48mm between row then standard 96mm spacing. Same on the opposite sides. this could support from anywhere on the top either end or edge. I have all my assortment supper dogs and guides I just want to expand the designs and options for all these accessories for a top we make using your guide system. Thanks again
Hi Peter, great video and interesting approach. Not sure if I would go this route as I am not sure when I need 30 or 60 deg cuts. But it is good to know this is possible. And ended with Tulips from Amsterdam that in the Dutch translation used to be a big hit (long ago). Take care
Peter, I would like to have the plans for the tracksaw cutting station. I watch your videos all the time, what a great teacher you are! Thank you for showing us what fine woodworking is all about.
Hi Stephen, In order to get plans or to contact me via email I need your email address. UA-cam no longer has a private messaging service and so in order to get in touch you need to place a comment on this or any other video with your email address. The UA-cam software should identify and send it to the spam folder for The New Brit Workshop. Nobody will be able to see your email address except you and me. I will then delete your comment so that it does not end up in the public domain and I will then send the plans. Were we to do this the other way around then my comment, with my email address, would appear for all the world to see. Peter
Hello Peter, many thanks for this very useful video. I have purchased the Parf Mark II Guide System and am planning the build of a large track saw cutting station. I would very much appreciate your plans, as well as those for the MFT3 replacement top - my old one is beginning to look pretty flimsy! Will send you my email address separately. Best regards, Douglas
That cutting station is a brillant idea! I'm going to build one on a torsion box that can rotate to serve as a clamping / gluing table, inspired by the multifunction shop cart designed by Thimothy Wilmot. I should stop watching videos and start cutting wood though: almost everyday I find new ideas and then spend an indecent amount of time modifying my plans.
I thought about this but how do you support the top and still have room for the festool clamps to be able to spin 360 degrees underneath the top? With 96mm centers there no room, if you did double the space between the holes there would be room for clamps but farther space between holes.
Bragon I’m in the same boat! I keep watching videos, saying “well that’s brilliant” but don’t fit all of the tidbits together into a functional plan. I’d like an assembly table that incorporates a cutting station in part of the top…
So I've just discovered your channel. Let me start by saying the track saw station is brilliant! And I know I can trust someone who uses the same technical terms as I do, such as "make a whoopsie." (Generally they can be corrected by adjusting a skosh." Further more, I can only assume from the closing music that it is German week, and Mrs. Slocumb is round the back. You have a new fan. Cheers.
You are very kind. I do my best but this recent spell of sub zero weather has caused havoc in the workshop. Normal service will be resumed very soon. Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, Great video. Just received my MkII directly from Axminster (wasn't available anywhere in the EU). I'm currently figuring out how to layout my table. I really like your layout. Offers everything I need, but i will probably add a few more holes for 45°. Wouldn't it be better to have the isometric pattern based on row 7 so you can acutally have the cut fully supported on the table? Or shifted two rows to the right? In your layout it seems the material and saw would be of the table for 60°cuts. Thats assuming you angle the material and not the track.
Hi Markus, It all depends where you put the tall dogs or the dogs against which the stock is pushed. The whole idea is to show what is possible and then let people create their own design to suit their needs. Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, I had a look on the website but didn’t found how to buy the 2 drill guide used with UJK PARF GUIDE SYSTEM MK II CENTROTEC SHAFT & 3MM DRILL 107893. They are only in the full package ? Thank you for answer !!!
Yes, To get plans I need your email address. For my email address go to my channel home page, click on "About" and you will find the email address (this is best done from a PC for some reason). Let me know what plans you need and I will email them to you. Peter
Hi Peter. I have a mk1 guide system. Can I use the last pin spot and drill bit dog on last spot (thats on the long side with two pins and two dogs positioned) to get my perfect 48mm holes.. I'm I making sense.. thanks for feedback. You sir, are a genius at work .. thanks again
Jerry, You asked for the plans and I cut and pasted the email address that you sent but the email has bounced back. I deleted your comment as soon as I sent the plans and have no idea of your UA-cam name. Peter
Hi Peter great video of the MFT3 table, I would like a copy of the plans for this please but it says to use your business email and I cannot find. How do I obtain a copy please cheers

Hi Barry, The 96 mm between centres is that used on the Festool MFT3 and is based on the Euro standard for various things especially kitchen cabinets. Peter
Thanks Peter. You were responding to my request just as I was watching the video again in order to get the overall dimensions of the two tops. The supplier will make one cut of the MDF for free, so I will ask them to cut the sheet 68 inches with 28 remaining. There is a northeaster headed into New England tomorrow and I would like to get the material into my shop before I am snowed in. This is perfect. Thanks again.
Thank you for your videos! You are being watched in Croatia! Very educational and helpful! Could you please send me your plan for the track saw cutting station? Thank you!

For the life of me I do not see your E-mail address under about as instructed. It even states it is there but it seems to be missing. I am trying to figure out how to combine the standard and iso patterns but have been unsuccessful so far. Would love to have a copy of your layout . . .
Hi Jack, The other way will be for you to post your email address here, it should go into the UA-cam "Held for Review" folder that only you and I will see. I will react to it and delete it at my end. Peter

Hi Peter, love the video. Very nice made and educational. I have a very small shelter where i have started make some wood working. Though i think that setting up my track saw and cut is taking very long time every time and if i want to cut many things at the same time they never bee that accurate. So i think this is brilliant and thinking of making my own. Love the idea of having master pins for hooking up the ruler is brilliant, i were thinking on something like pins that fit the groove under. But it makes it hard to adjust the height. Will se if there is some hooks that fit my Makita ruler and then i might be able to make my own cutting station at home :D
Hi Eric, For many years we did not have any form of rail clip and all one needed to do was to ensure that the rail was tight against the tall dogs. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop that smart. I dont have anything holding it right now so. Thinking of picking up some large dogs, those clips and a UJK Parf Repeat Stop. Though do you have any tips for do nice 90 degrees cuts? With that cind of set up? Hade two parallel strate edges to day on a cutting board and hade really hard time making the other two sides 90 degrees.
Peter, this video will be a great reference when I replace my MFT 3 tops. On my computer screen the colors of your markings are slightly vearing shades of gray, but the line widths are clear.
Hi Paul, Yes, but they do last a long time. My current one has lasted 3 years and is still going strong. It would cost about £20 to replace it. The beauty of the Parf Guide System is that you can create as many cutting stations as you like so replacement of an old cutting station is no big deal. Cheers. Peter
Hello Peter from New Jersey in the USA. I've become a big fan of your videos. I'm new to woodworking and as such, I've decided to educate myself as much as possible to get a great setup from the start. I've been watching many videos from other UA-camrs discussing various UJK products and I am convinced that UJK makes the best products out there and from what I can see so far, you are responsible for that, so I thank you very much! I am definitely intrigued by your table setup, as I have noticed it in an other video I just watched, and I'm very excited to the prospect of receiving your plans for it. I will give you my email address in another comment because I don't mind having this comment here stay in your feed. Keep the great videos and awesome products coming!! Thanks, Clarke
Hi Clarke, I have not seen your email address but...In order to get plans I need your email address. To find my email address go to my main UA-cam page, click the "About" tab and that leads to my email address. I am told this has to be done on a PC. Cheers. Peter
I have said this a few times now ... UA-cam have changed the way that message traffic is sent and email addresses rarely get through. I have never ignored any request for plans. failed messages seem to always remain on view to the originator. So, Lets start again. To get plans I need your email address. Are you aware of the 'Vario-Bench' produced by Sauter in Germany? www.sautershop.com/multifunctional-tables/vario-bench-multifunctional-table/ Is has holes that allow for cutting any angle from 1 to 90 degrees - which seems a bit over the top and obviously impossible to do without a CNC machine, but it makes me think - I know that a mix of isometric and square grids will allow for 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree cuts - but is it possible to use the Mark 2 Parf guide system, with its offset holes and two drilling bushes, to produce hole arrangements for other common mitre cut angles? 22.5 etc? Maybe the answer is obvious to the mathematically-savvy, though ...
Hi Peter, The 22.5 degree setup is not possible with a rectilinear layout as far as I can tell. I had not seen the vario bench top before - it does look complicated. Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, great video, I have my mk2 system now and a fence and stop, om looking to make your cutting station, can I ask do u use M.R MDF or just regular mdf? For your tops. Thanks Allan. 🍻👍
Hi Allan, I use Medite MR MDF as it is almost as good as the really expensive HDF but any good quality MDF should do. The cheaper material does not cut well and can clog drills. Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, thanks for the video! I must have watched it 5 times now putting plans together for my workbench. One question - as the isometric lines are in reference to the line on which the guide track attaches, rather than the kerf line, would this not cause an issue with material overhanging the bench at the top (and the saw off the table when making the cut) when making cuts along the whole width of the material? Is the intention to move the track onto the isometric lines rather than referencing the material against those lines? Think I will make the isometric lines in reference to the kerf lines, do you see any issue with this? Many thanks
Hi Mark, I must confess that the Isometric lines are just a starting point and more may need to be added. My idea is that one has the guide rail (and so the kerf line) in the same place for all cuts. Peter
Hi Graham, I am so glad you have put this post here. I sent the plans off on Wednesday to the email address that you sent but the email bounced back with the message "Reason: 5.5.0 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable". Please try again with a different email address. Peter
What I mean by the plans are the drawing of the cutting station and example MFT3 tops, in your You Tube "How to build a tracksaw cutting station" Thanks.

Hi Peter, I don't have MFT 3 or parf cutting station, and I am trying to decide which one would be more practical for me. would parf cutting station be sufficient by itself or do I still need MFt3?
Thanks for this video Peter. I have purchased the PARF MK II GUIDE SYSTEM and it would be great to have a look at your plans for the cutting station and MFT3 tops.
Hi Johan, Go to my UA-cam top page, click "About" and send me an email to the address given stating your requirement.... ua-cam.com/video/WcVrqENGBuc/v-deo.html Peter
Yes, it is far more accurate and much better value for money. I have many professional craftsmen using the system reporting to me accuracy far better than they had been able to achieve before. To get 0.001 degree accuracy you need to spend $50k on a decent sliding/table saw. Cheers. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshopAha ok. My major issue is that’s hard to cut glued panels (like a table top) square on my DeWalt tablesaw. Do you also use this for solid wood? I was thing about a Hammer k3 but maybe I should consider this option too. Thanks
Yes, I use it for almost everything as the cuts are so accurate. When we moved house and my mitre saw was not set up I used it for every single saw cut including some precision cabinet work. Cheers. Peter
Hi Matthew, Not sure what you mean. I do not have the time to manage a web site as I am too busy answering queries, designing new tools and helping my wife in the garden !! Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter, I just got the Parf Guide system and looking for a good plan for my first working bench, and I found the idea of your plan is brilliant, I hope I can get your plan.

Hi Peter, I think I know the answer to this question, but I'm not sure. So, my question is, if I pare down the dimensions by roughly 200mm or about 8" both width and length, will the table still work with the same functionality and accuracy? Also, can this cutting station be made with the original Parf Guide System? Thanks much for your videos! Thanks in advance!
Hi Rick, Yes on both counts. I have an MFT3 top which is brilliantly accurate. My missing MFT3 size folding bench that is not here any more had a top made with the original PGS which was also spot on. Peter

Hi Peter, I wonder if you could clarify something please. I obtained the plans from you some weeks ago and finally got around to creating a cutting station today. Or should I say partially thanks to the rain. I've got as far as making the isometric holes for the top, using the equilateral triangles, and I think these are for the 60 degree holes. However, when I've looked at your video again I've noticed that around 26:40 into the video a further isometric line appears on your cutting station, just to your right, which I think is for the 30 degree line, but unless I'm mistaken there's no comments as to how it gets there. I'm presuming, for accuracies sake, that you've used the parf system in some way or was it simply done by dissecting the side of the equilateral triangle and drawing a line back to the point. I'm sure I've probably missed something along the way, so I'd be grateful if you could just clarify it for me as my brain seems to have gone into meltdown. As always, thanks for the great videos that you produce and thanks in anticipation of any guidance you may be able to offer.
Hi Jon, I made the 30 degree lines as follows. First do the 3 mm holes that form the 60 degree triangle which has the side parallel to the top of the piece of wood. Next do the two 60 degree lines that meet in a point at the top left of the guide rail. Let us call that point where they meet "A".If you now look carefully you will see that the holes that are on the two 60 degree lines (that meet in a point A) that are 3 times 96 mm from point A lie on a horizontal line where the spacing is 96 mm between hole centres. Place a Parf Ruler across these, using the 3 mm pins to secure it in place. You can now drill the 3 mm holes that are on the 30 degree line, first on the left and then moving the ruler to do the one on the right. Once these first 30 degree holes are done you can lay a Parf Ruler along each of the 30 degree lines to do the remaining holes. Peter
Peter once agian a very comprehensive guide on how to build a track saw cutting station. I purchased the Mk1 Parf guide system, can this be used to build the isometric cutting station.
Hi Jonathan, Yes the plans are still available. You can find my email address by going to my main UA-cam page and clicking on the "About" tab. Just state what plans you need in your email to me and I will get them to you very soon. Peter
Thank you for the plans, Peter. Just one question, Can I assume that this layout is also geared up to cutting longer lengths (ie 1220mm+) in the portrait mode?
You can cut longer lengths and I may show one method in my next workshop notes video. If you apply finish do it before you start. I only do it on bench tops where glue might be used. I quite like Osmo but any varnish or water based equivalent will do. Peter

Hi Peter . Received my plans thank you. It may sound stupid but if i put a piece of timber or board on the 60 degree line and make a cut don't i get a 30 Degree angle cut on the piece of timber under the track, you only the 30 degree cut on the piece that is cut off, and vise versa for the 30 degree line get a 60 degree cut. so if you want a 60 degree cut on the piece your cutting you put it on the 30 degree line. Am i wrong in the way i am looking at the plans
Hi Peter, thank you for sending me the plan for Tracksaw Cutting Station and MFT3 Designs with UJK Parf Guide System. I was able to drill the holes for rectilinear and isometric holes except that I am stumped on the 30 degree holes. I can't seem to line up any existing holes for the two 30 degree line 3mm holes. This is the only issue I have to complete my cutting station. Any thoughts?
Hi William, The isometric holes do require a lot of care to make sure that you have the correct positioning of the Parf Sticks. Also, with an isometric layout you need to look carefully in order to select the right holes for 30 degrees. Good luck. Peter
Hi Peter, I am ready for a new cutting station since I gave my first to my friend. I have an MDF ready for this while I used a plywood in the first one I gave away. I would like to have a copy of your track saw cutting station/mft plan as you mentioned.

Enjoying the videos especially those pertaining to the Domino DF500 and the track saw. I just bought the Midi extractor and it is a worlds better then what I had before. Really appreciate the clear and concise instruction. Where can the plans be seen? Should have mentioned I'm in Central Virginia, USA. Thanks.
Hello Peter. Once again you have a made fabulous video and provided superior instruction as to how to complete this properly. I have your Part Guide, Super Dogs and two of the Parf fences myself. I love the quality of these products. I am moving to a new house next month and want to build this more advanced MFT top for my new workshop. May I have a set of the plans please? I can't wait to get started on my next project utilizing your suggestions. Thanks again for all these great videos. Email is the next comment. Steve

D Ellwood Hi Peter while watching the video i noticed the Bearing guided 3mm Drill Guide; short and long spigots and bit are not the same as mine (i bought the first system) and was wondering where i could purchase the new ones i've tried a search Axminster tools but no luck PS could you please send me a set of the plans....Thanks David
Hi David, There is no sensible upgrade path from the original PGS to the Mark 2 as so much has changed. If you expect to produce less than 30 full size tops in your woodworking career then the original is fine. The Mark 2 is more accurate and designed to be handed from father to son ! Peter
Peter, is your offer for sending out the plans still valid today? I'd rather not submit my email and have it on display for all to see for all of eternity!

You have a great channel Peter! I have just bought your Parf Guide System mk 2 and are now on my way to create my first table top. I really like your approach for the track saw cutting station and would very much appreciate to have your layout for it. Many thanks in advance! Peder

Hi Peter, another great video as always. I have the Parf Guide ll System and you were also good enough to send me a copy of your plan for this cutting station. I note that you have said that any surface finish should be applied prior to the holes being drilled. However, I have also seen your recent video relating to the Parf Guide Reaming Tool. With that in mind would it be possible to drill the 20 mm dog holes and seal them with a chosen finish, to give additional protection, and then use the 'reamer' to clean the fibres which will inevitably appear? Merry Christmas to you and your family and of course your viewers.
@New Brit Workshop But Peter is your intention to move the kerf line all the time (and use the Parf Fence) or move the fence or work piece (putting in bench dogs) and keep the kerf line static? Do you intend doing as your "How to make an Isometric MFT Top"-video and put out bench dogs in angle and keep kerf line static. I mentioned in a comment that you can move dogs (or fence) and kerf line to get 15/75° but I think that is not an everyday usage.
Hi Emil, I like to keep my one kerf line but sometimes it does not work depending on the size of the wood being cut. It is therefore better to use dogs for angled cuts. Cheers. Peter
HI Peter, first of all thank you for the videos. I've got the mark 2 but have not implemented yet. Can I check if there is a maximum thickness for the top. My top is two 18mm MDF sandwiched together. Thanks
Hi Alan, You are fine with 18 mm MDF - it is exactly what I use. You can go a dash thicker up to the limit of the depth that the 3 mm drill can reach as it has to go all the way through the top. Good luck. Peter
Hi Peter, I'm the owner of a Parf Guide MKII. I'm planning to make soon a MFT top for my workbench made with extruded aluminium profiles. I was wondering what would be the best between MDF and plywood with black melamine as it will be my "mainmultitask" place. Is there any technical advantage of using MDF as it seems to be almost allways chosen? Or simply the price? Like other people, I would be so pleased to receive your tracksaw cutting station plans :) (my email below) Kind Regards
Hi Franck, MDF is by far the most economical and durable material to use for a tracksaw cutting station. Plywood is not as stable, chipboard is unreliable and the expensive HDF options are just not worth it. I will send the plans. Peter
Peter excellent videos. Just received new Parf Guide Mk2 system, everything spot on dimension wise. Could you please share your cutting station layout plans as I am in the process of making one.

I love any video with the word detritus
This really is a great video. At the beginning and I saw your diagram/plans I thought… no way I’m gonna be able to do that. But you do such a great job at explaining the system and why you have the holes where you have them. Great explanation. I sent you an email requesting the diagram/plans.
Comprehensive video Peter, no chance anyone should go wrong with this level of guidance. Thanks for putting it into one clip too.
Hi Derek, That is very kind of you. I was worried about it being a bit long but I think you are right that it is better in one video. Cheers. Peter
Peter, I have been watching your videos and many others by patrons of your product. This system is my latest purchase for the workshop and am thoroughly looking forward to utilising it on my drop leaf workbench. It is an outstanding example of British ingenuity! Congratulations on your success with it!
Hi Samantha, You are very kind. Cheers. Peter
Cheers. Peter
Peter, pleas, I would like to have the plans for the tracksaw cutting station. I'm from Brazil and i've been watching your videos. Thank you.
Hi Alexandre, All of my plans and diagrams are free. Just go to my UA-cam top page, click on "About" and then you will see my email address. Send me an email, stating the plans that you need and I will send them to you. Peter
Hi Peter, are these plans still available? Is so do I still need to put my email in the comments? Thanks for the great videos 👍
Peter
Very helpful video, as always. I especially appreciate the clarity of your articulation.
Glad it was helpful!
Go for it!
Hi Joseph, I hope your shoulder gets better soon and good luck with your plan. Cheers. Peter
Hi,
I've been watching several videos lately and am now on a waiting list for the MK II Parf Guide System, hopefully within a couple of weeks. I've been planning on building a station, and from watching a few videos on different systems, this system does appear to be the best setup and most accurate across the whole top. I would be most interested in your plans to help guide my design. I'll reply with my email address.
Thank you for all the videos explaining the system, the accessories, and usage.
Hi Frank, The plans are on the way. Cheers. Peter
I think us users wont see the emails as it's hidden and only Peter can see them. Feels a bit risky though!
That is right, nobody else can see them. If I publish an email address it will be swamped with rubbish. Peter

Glad it was helpful!
And I know I can trust someone who uses the same technical terms as I do, such as "make a whoopsie." (Generally they can be corrected by adjusting a skosh."
Further more, I can only assume from the closing music that it is German week, and Mrs.
Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter,
I had a look on the website but didn’t found how to buy the 2 drill guide used with UJK PARF GUIDE SYSTEM MK II CENTROTEC SHAFT & 3MM DRILL 107893. They are only in the full package ?
Thank you for answer !!!
Hi Didier, I am not sure what you mean ???? Peter
Are the plans still available?
Yes, To get plans I need your email address. For my email address go to my channel home page, click on "About" and you will find the email address (this is best done from a PC for some reason). Let me know what plans you need and I will email them to you. Peter
Great video Peter. Well thought out and wonderfully explained, thanks for the effort of making the video.
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Peter, fantastic comprehensive video just what I’m looking for to be able to take on this project
Glad it was helpful!
Great system, how can I get the plan
Size 1100 x 1800 apologies for the typo error!!
Hi Peter. I have a mk1 guide system. Can I use the last pin spot and drill bit dog on last spot (thats on the long side with two pins and two dogs positioned) to get my perfect 48mm holes.. I'm I making sense.. thanks for feedback. You sir, are a genius at work .. thanks again
I am not quite sure what you mean. As far as I remember the 3 mm holes in the rulers and they are all at 96 mm centres. Peter
In order to get plans I need your email address. To find my email address go to my main UA-cam page, click the "About" tab and that leads to my email address. I am told this has to be done on a PC. Cheers. Peter
Thank you Peter. I would like a copy of the free plans you’re offering. What is an email address I can send my info to?

Hi there Peter , i made my own version a few years ago ! I fancy making a new on now I’ve always been curios why 96mm on ctr is used ? Thanks Barry
Hi Tommy, Fingers crossed for the weather. Cheers. Peter
Thank you for your videos! You are being watched in Croatia! Very educational and helpful! Could you please send me your plan for the track saw cutting station? Thank you!

Any idea if they will bring back the ruler on the parf guides? The ones that I have are blank with just holes on them.
Contact Axminster Customer Services please. Peter

Now, now. Please be quiet at the back - you might wake the teacher !! Cheers. Peter
Peter
Hi Peter, I would love to get these plans! Thanks for another great video!

Hi Peter, great instruction videos ! Please send me these plans - thank you
Hi Peter, love the video.
So ultimately the cutting station is gradually destroyed with saw cuts then?

Many thanks for your passion in spreading the knowledge. You've really helped me a ton.
Glad to help. Peter
CAN YOU SEND ME THE PLAN
I've just had to delete my email, you left it up for a year and I never got the plans 🤷
I have said this a few times now ... UA-cam have changed the way that message traffic is sent and email addresses rarely get through. I have never ignored any request for plans. failed messages seem to always remain on view to the originator. So, Lets start again. To get plans I need your email address. Wow
Cheers. Peter
Does anybody sell these tops on eBay.Seems a lot of money if you are only going to use this a couple of times.
thanks you just taught an old dog a new trick.
Hi Peter, great video, I have my mk2 system now and a fence and stop, om looking to make your cutting station, can I ask do u use M.R MDF or just regular mdf? For your tops.
Thanks
Allan.
Peter
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this video Peter. I’ve sent you an email requesting a copy of your plans. Many thanks

Hi Payam, If you create a Parf tracksaw cutting station you will not need an MFT3. Peter

Nice video. Would you prefer this solution over a sliding table saw?
Cheers. Peter
Surely a website would be the best option for this type of communication, sales etc
Hi Matthew, Not sure what you mean. I do not have the time to manage a web site as I am too busy answering queries, designing new tools and helping my wife in the garden !! Cheers. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop lol, me too. I just always assume everyone else has it under control better than me

Peter
Hi Peter. Great video again. Noticed the “tulips from Amsterdam” tune at the end 😃. Best regards from holland. William.
Thanks 👍
Peter, I would love to have a free copy of your plans for this bench top, so please send them to me, I have the parf guide system mk 2.
Thanks
Mike
Hi Mike, In order to get plans or to contact me via email I need your email address.
Hi Peter. Are you still providing these plans. If so I’ll add my email address.
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan, Yes the plans are still available. You can find my email address by going to my main UA-cam page and clicking on the "About" tab. Just state what plans you need in your email to me and I will get them to you very soon. Peter
Thank you for the plans, Peter. Just one question, Can I assume that this layout is also geared up to cutting longer lengths (ie 1220mm+) in the portrait mode?
Also, do you apply a finish to the MDF, if yes, what do you recommend?
You can cut longer lengths and I may show one method in my next workshop notes video. If you apply finish do it before you start. I only do it on bench tops where glue might be used. I quite like Osmo but any varnish or water based equivalent will do. Peter
Pretty amazing that you pushing your Festool blue tooth switch, makes it go directly to a commercial. Next level connectivity.
Ah, yes - it took ages to get that riight !! Cheers. Peter
Hi Peter I would like a copy of your cutting station plan. Thank you.

Hi Kevin, You are right and so you always have to think about these cuts. Peter
Good luck. Peter
Hello Peter. Fantastic video and I would like to make the workstation. I’ll add a comment with my email address. Many thanks indeed
Hi Nick, I will keep an eye out in my UA-cam spam folder (all comments which have URLs or email addresses end up there). Peter
Hi Peter, I am ready for a new cutting station since I gave my first to my friend. I have an MDF ready for this while I used a plywood in the first one I gave away. I would like to have a copy of your track saw cutting station/mft plan as you mentioned.

Great video Peter, well done
Glad you enjoyed it
Enjoying the videos especially those pertaining to the Domino DF500 and the track saw. I just bought the Midi extractor and it is a worlds better then what I had before. Really appreciate the clear and concise instruction. Where can the plans be seen? Should have mentioned I'm in Central Virginia, USA. Thanks.
Hi Steve, I have just sent you an email in response to your message on the FOG. Peter
Steve
Hi Steve, Plans are on the way. Cheers. Peter
Nice work BTW
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Peter, been following the channel for a while now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Could you please provide the plans?

Hi Peter while watching the video i noticed the Bearing guided 3mm Drill Guide; short and long spigots and bit are not the same as mine (i bought the first system) and was wondering where i could purchase the new ones i've tried a search Axminster tools but no luck PS could you please send me a set of the plans....Thanks David

Peder
Hi Peder, I have sent the plans and deleted your comment that contained your email address. Good luck. Cheers. Peter
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Would like the free plans, please. Thank you very much

Hi Peter I would like a copy of your cutting station plan thanks
Hi Peter, another great video as always. I have the Parf Guide ll System and you were also good enough to send me a copy of your plan for this cutting station. I note that you have said that any surface finish should be applied prior to the holes being drilled. However, I have also seen your recent video relating to the Parf Guide Reaming Tool. With that in mind would it be possible to drill the 20 mm dog holes and seal them with a chosen finish, to give additional protection, and then use the 'reamer' to clean the fibres which will inevitably appear? Merry Christmas to you and your family and of course your viewers.
Hi Jon, The only thing to watch is that the cutting edge of the reamer could become clogged with hard wax or whatever. Happy Christmas. Peter
Cheers. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop appreciated, thank you!
Good luck. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop Thanks Peter, so my top of 36mm (ie two 18mm sandwiched together) will not work? Thanks
Nice
Thanks
Hi Peter!! You are a great contributor to the woodworking community. Thanks for the video. Could you please forward me the plans as well. Email below:
Plans sent.
Like other people, I would be so pleased to receive your tracksaw cutting station plans :) (my email below)
Kind Regards
Hi Franck, MDF is by far the most economical and durable material to use for a tracksaw cutting station. Plywood is not as stable, chipboard is unreliable and the expensive HDF options are just not worth it. I will send the plans. Peter
@@NewBritWorkshop thanks a lot for the advice and for the plans :)
Peter excellent videos. Just received new Parf Guide Mk2 system, everything spot on dimension wise. Could you please share your cutting station layout plans as I am in the process of making one.

Cheap MDF creates too much furring in the holes. I believe you use Medite MDF but which type do you use?
Hi David, I use 18 mm (or is it 19mm) Medite MR MDF. It has hard outer layers and is perfect for cutting stations and as a carcas under veneer. Peter
I would like the plans for the cutting and mft table top please Peter. Do we leave email addresses in the public comments?
Hi Graham, Yes, but when you do that the comment goes into my spam folder so that only you and I can see it. Peter
