- Thanks for growing with us!
Our @ProvenWinnersUA-cam annuals have arrived! We were fortunate enough to be able to order direct from @PleasantViewGardens and they shipped the order to our favorite local garden center, @FaddegonsNursery !! A huge thank you to everyone involved in getting us these beautiful plants.
In this video we are sharing with you each variety we selected and how we think we are going to use them. Our color scheme for the season is mostly purple and yellow. We are hoping to use different shades and textures to creature container and landscape plantings that will look beautiful.

Annuals are like sparkle accents for your botanical paradise! ❤
I love that!
I’m originally from North Georgia and my wife is from upstate NY too. I’ve always been amazed at how green the grass if there like yours is. We go up every year, it’s close to Syracuse and we’ll be moving there soon. The grass is WAY greener than here at my home and I love it.
I think we have pretty much the same weather as Syracuse...but you will be getting more lake effect snow!
I hope you have the week off from work. I know I couldn’t concentrate at work with all those beautiful flowers awaiting a new beautiful home. Enjoy your planting! Can’t wait for the video.
I wish we did!! The weather has been exceptional so a lot has been accomplished.
OMG A beautiful garden center WITH ice cream. You found heaven!
They just started doing little pop-ups. We hit the jackpot that day!
Yellow and purple combo in the garden 💛💜
It’s going to be great!!!!
Wait, ice cream and a nursery at the same place? MY DREAM. Count me in!
I know!!!!!
All beautiful choices! Cannot wait to see all the combinations!
We have had a lot of fun brewing up ideas
They will be stunning!!
I can't wait to show you what we are doing with them
Such great ideas with your plant selections. I can't wait to see you start adding to your beautiful gardens!
Thanks so much! 😊
Joined you for the first time today
Welcome! We have a lot of fun stuff coming this season
꽃들이 정말 이 봄을 더 싱그럽고 기운차게 만들어 주는것 같아요❤❤❤
I agree!
I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m excited to see what y’all do with all these beautiful plants!
Welcome!!
Everything you guys got are so beautiful. my most favorite is the Yellow Finch and Ultra Marine color.. those 2 would look gorgeous in front of your house.!
I’m convincing Eric that he loves the ultramarine as much as me! Haha
Gorgeous gorgeous plants!!! I just added a bunch to my list! Can’t wait to see how you plant everything 🩷🌸
So much has been planted already...but there is SO much left to go!
Eric is so creative when it comes to containers! I love the thought process you share with us and the reason when you choose the PW plants that you do! This is my favorite gardening channel!
Thank you so much! That is amazing to hear
I just love that you give us close ups of all the beautiful flowers and plants!
Glad you like them!
I’m so excited to see what you two come up with! I follow a couple of other channels that caution against following the Proven Winners planting suggestions in containers too closely due to over crowding. I hope yours turn out ok. Anyway, gardening is all about trying new things and seeing what works!🇨🇦👏🇨🇦
We have experience with most of the varieties we are planting this year and are very specific about pairing appropriately.
Great selection of annuals, They are the bees knees. We grow annuals from seed with two heated propagators we don't need many for the six pots on two windowsills. We grow cosmos and African daisies from seed for the flower beds.
That is great
Omg this video was a good omen for me, hit play and 2 min in my proven winners annuals order arrived 😮
woohoo!
Wow that’s a lot of plants and I can’t wait to see what you guys do with them! You guys are great and planting up eye catching containers!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
Thanks so much!
Fantastic colour combinations- I’ll be picking up some bidens to add some lovely whites and yellows to our terrace garden bed, which is very blue and purple heavy at the moment 😊
That sounds like a great idea
These look great guys! They all will be beautiful in your gardens! ❤️
I think so too!
You may have convinced me to plant annuals. They are going to add the finishing touches to your gardens. ❤❤
They are sorta like the jewelry of the garden
The choices you shared are stunning. I am so excited to see where all of the plants go and how they grow over the summer. Your garden already looks amazing but with the addition of the annuals it will be stunning.🌼
Thank you so much!
Saffron Finch does great in ground as well ❤
That's great because I am going to be putting some in the ground this week!
@@growformegardening they do shock a bit but recover quickly. You have nice soil so they should do awesome 🤩
WoW 🤩 i can’t wait to see your next video 👍 💐
We are sneaking in two container videos this week!
I love the selection of plants!👏👏👏👏 it funny , we use those tropical hibiscus as perennials. They some times get knocked down, if we have a rare freeze, but they always come back up. Which is great , they can get about 6ft in 9b. Cant wait to see you put it together. ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
This is a totally new plant for us. We could bring it inside for the winter, but I'm not sure if the cats will appreciate it!
@growformegardening do not put them in the same environment as your cats. They are very toxic for cats. Best use them as annuals
Good to know. If I brought it to work would it look awful all winter?
@@growformegardening if it didn't get enough sun, probably, but then in spring you could probably put it outside to recoup. You know how it is, here in South texas we could probably grow redodenron in the winter and they would die in the summer.
Good morning Eric and Christopher my gardening buddies😃very exciting to see all the Proven Winners you are doing this year, it will be the frosting on your beautiful garden, I also will be doing the shade combination of the torenia and begonias. I think the switch with the furniture was a fantastic idea, so cozy you can still sit out there with light rain too, very relaxing. Enjoy the beautiful and sunny week🌞
We have used the furniture more in a week than we did in a month last summer
@@growformegardening I am sure you have! Enjoy😃
I'm super jelly! I can't find several of these PW annuals anywhere, like Surefire begonias. Everything looks great and I'm excited for you!
Oh no! I must say we are spoiled in our area. I don't think there is a variety we couldn't find between all the local spots.
Excited to see them in your garden even though I have many of the same ones! I too am trying surefire rose for the first time. I also am trying surefire white. That seems less vigorous so far. Indigo and artist blue are also two of my favs. You are so right that artist blue is underrated but I think it is catching on.
I think so too. I saw a LOT at the garden center
This looks like so much fun! Happy gardening! 😊
It is!
Oh so beautiful flower selections love the colors .eric"s double dutch combo picks are beautiful.thanks for the N.S.take along awesome g.n. happy planting💖💚💚
Thanks so much!
Great selections going to be beautiful!!!
Can't wait!
I planted PW Gold Dust ground cover next to my Saffron Finch petunias.
I just saw that Gold Dust at the garden center, it's really sweet
Happy planting guys!
Yes, thank you
Adding ice cream while visiting the garden center to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing all your new plant babies!
It was the perfect start to the day!
I really want to get my hands on the marshmallow bidens, love the mini daisy look! LOVE the purple, yellow and white colour story you’ve gone with this season!❤🌱
It's so good!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful plants and your ideas ! Gave me some ideas too for my garden, especially the double Dutch! ❤ can't wait to see them in your garden!
Wait until tomorrow's video...we are planting it up!
All the pretty things, please. 😊
So much color!
Such a fun video, I can’t wait for the container video. On a side note, my husband and I got 6 scopes of compost this weekend and laid it out in our flower beds and are going back for 3 more. It looks soooo great. Thanks for the tip!
That is awesome!
I now have Lamium on my plant radar thanks to you guys and might just have to spring for the Pink Chablis! And maybe TMI, but I wish I had drip irrigation set up like you guys do. I normally don’t mind watering but I have planted a lot this year and the current cicada infestation isn’t pleasant here in the Chicagoland area. They’re everywhere and have made their way inside via my clothes (ick). You guys do have excellent drip irrigation tutorials. Maybe I’ll follow your lead!
oh my goodness that sounds awful!!! Our drip has been built on over a few years. It is pretty basic...and it sounds like a necessity if there are buggies everywhere!
I love watching both of you, so far you are my favourites
I just wish I had the room, time & another person
Did you want to come to Australia with proven winner plants we don’t get the variety you have
Haha can you imagine stuffing some plants in a carry on bag?!
Loved seeing all of these plants! This year I've put in the Supertunias Saffron Finch & Tiara Blue. A new color combo for me. I'm anxious to see how they do, but so far I'm loving that yellow pop. Thanks for sharing - I really like how you review & explain things.
Oh I'm interested in seeing that second supertunia
Watching this video again. Hay, you guys said last year that the begonias dropped blooms all over the porch. And the dead blooms we're slimy. I'm guessing that the flowers are so beautiful, ,it's worth the headache.
100% We tried to keep up on them before they slimed out. At the end of the season we used the jet setting on the hose to clean up the leftovers
Can't wait to see what you do
So many ideas!
I’m so excited to see your beautiful container combinations!!❤
Coming soon!
Wow, beautiful plants. I want them all! Off to the garden center today to see if any of those plants are there. Thanks for sharing!
Oh I hope they are!
I got my hands on the hoopla vivid orchid & i LOVE IT!! Such a showstopping plant!! 💜
It's so good!
I look forward to your videos and am learning a lot from you. Can you tell me where you got your beautiful hanging planters that you showed on your shaded porch in this episode?
Right under the title in the description below is a link to them.
I’m so thrilled I came across your you tube channel, your gardens are spectacular and looking forward to see how you put together all the annuals in containers and your garden would you share what the name of the tree is that you have planted in the container on your patio?
Thank you! We have a Bonfire Patio Peach and a Moffat Blue juniper
@@growformegardening thanks for the info.
Ooh! I have the superbenia sparkle amethyst shown at 11:32 I'll combine with lemon coral sedum and some purple (looks more magenta though) petunia after my tulip leaves fully die back. The lemony green looked amazing with the amethyst.
That's a really good idea
Hi this is Joanne from California these plants are so expensive in California $8.28 each tooo expensive things are so high just can’t afford them
We are planting quite a number of flowers that I grew from seed this year. That could be a cost effective option to add color!
💙👍🏻💙
🌸
what a haul! proven winners is the best! my fave is the supertunia bubblegum. its the perfect barbie pink flower. i want some heliotrope! fun fact, the oils from that plant is what gives play-doh that yummy smell.
What! I love random facts and absolutely will be sharing
