Yeah, its been nice out there. Good shooting and great vid. I was out last Saturday, just heautiful even though i only bagged one bird
Thanks you for watching! It's always nice to get out!! Glad you are making it count...not about how many...about the experiences we have along the way!
Looking out for spots to hunt the old dogs is the mark of a real bird hunter! Nice touch Spencer.
Thank you! She is a special one and deserves to go until she can longer make it
Great stuff! So cool to see you hunt spots which are suitable for the older dogs. Over the course of their lives, it would be astonishing, at least for me, to know how many miles those dogs have traveled and all the birds they've moved.
Thank you! The miles would surely add up and the number of coveys Lexi has trailed for me is countless
What size shot are you using?
7.5 or 8
Thank you for the video! What are you using for gun and loads?
Thank you for watching! That is a Rizzini BR110 Sporter in 28ga. I shoot 7.5 or 8's or 9's...really whatever is cheapest at Walmart when I go in shopping 🤣🤣
I’m looking at getting a O/U. But can’t decide between 20 or 28 gauge. What’s your opinion. Going to use it for quail and maybe dove.
If you are only using for Quail and Dove I would go with the 28 myself. Shell cost can be a factor. The best answer is the one that fits you best no matter the gauge. This 28 that I'm shooting fits me really well. That is why I connect with it.
