@@M1ndblast usually people making such assumptions are those from the outside looking in.. they simply just can't relate.. but if you are practicing in the same field you will have a general Idea of the effort and time it takes to get really good at something

I see that you're using eevee while you're sculpting. Doesn't that make the program too slow? For me, the difference is obvious when I start to have a lot of faces, using the sculpting tools becomes very painful, but if I switch back to matcap, I get all the fluidity back.

I'm 41. I've never done anything like this. I wanted to create a human model, I wanted to make my own visual novel. I watched this video and realized that only the character creation editor in dark souls 3 is suitable for me. :(
Blender has all that you need to make cool sculpts, with each new update improving the software in more ways, it also contains all the modelling, rendering and shading tools you might need, for free. Zbrush is definitely a more powerful sculpting tool, with tons and tons of tools and features to take your sculpts to AAA standards, but it can be a bit overwhelming at first, if you're just starting out i'd recommend Blender and when you have a good grasp of sculpting make the transition to Zbrush, license is a bit expensive tho, in any case sticking to blender is perfectly fine, i use both.
