The problems arise when other people try to enforce their opinion on people who don't share it. It's okay to come to a compromise, or agree to disagree, but it's not okay to selfishly override another person's agency.
(I don't know the people in the video, nor their argument, aside from gathering that the man hasn't been kind to trans people. While I agree that free speech will almost inevitably offend *someone,* I also agree with you about trying *not* to. _Kindness is the best way to go, especially when explaining something was offensive to someone who may be_ ignorant!)
Love how she understands an is honest...
It is beautiful, absolutely beautiful
It's a pretty simple answer to your initial question. My right to free speech matters, you're right to not be offended, does not.
She is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY.. Intellectually Mismatched for this conversation.
Not many people are matched to lock horns with this dude.
One of the best captured moments in the least 50 years 🙌
Master piece! This scene is written in stone now, is to teach in journalism classes. Being aggresive ...you are not the smartest in the room.
If she was a good journalist, she will not be remembered for all that, but for this single one. Boom. 😊
Flawless victory
You know what, good for her! They were having a discussion and she admitted to the "gotcha"
We should all be open to being offended because it maintains a diverse way of thinking and enables diversity. The not being offended train goes both ways.
I agree with you 100%. Liberals will shout, scream like a two year old and do whatever it takes to suppress a conservative's opinion or voice.
Classic moment of logic winning over emotions
Yes sexual emotions too. I think she’s was flustered by because she was getting horny over his superior intellect 😂
Getting offended is a choice. Getting upset because someone insulted you is weakness.
So if your neighbor stole your car and insulted you in the process, then you punched their face in, is that weakness?
@@qwanathomas735 - "stole your car" is inserting a separate issue.
@@jamesredman1263 Not it's not it's a Major insult, an insult is an insult.
@@qwanathomas735 stealing is not an insult, it's a crime. And so the theft is the reason for action, not the insult. And a punch to the face may not be the appropriate response, either.
@@MrDDiRusso OK, many punches and kicks in the face.
❤️love him
That's warm ☺️ that's nice and warm that feeling.
Folks, before engaging in intellectual combat, remember why most combat sports have weight divisions.
Her question I feel is best answered with ; "I have a constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech, You do not have the freedom of not having your feelings hurt. "
The constitutional first amendment right to freedom of speech is for protection against actions by the US government. Neither of these people are US citizens. (Neither am I for that matter)
Listen to this man‘s speech makes me calm🙌🏻
My hero
Best thing I’ve ever seen or heard!
This situation remembers me that time in court with the TMZ guy
JP has a lot of those
"GOTCHA" moments.
Wow, Peterson! Love your sense of intelligence, knowledge and understanding
