Thousands farewell Jerry Collins at emotional funeral

Family, friends and fans flocked to Porirua on Wednesday to give a stirring sendoff to former All Blacks star Jerry Collins, a man feared on the field and revered off of it. The rugby hard man died two weeks ago alongside partner Alana Madill during a traffic accident on a French motorway.

I remember when I was 12, Jerry was playing for the ospreys at the time, they were invited to give a training session in rhyl north Wales,I was playing club rugby at the time for a team called colwyn bay, even a young Dan bigger was there! It was a great pleasure meeting jerry, what a kind hearted man, a great leader, RIP BIG MAN! He was definitely one of a kind 🔥🔥
