Thank you very much. I think you did amazing choice. The Insta 360 R is absolutely great and I’m super happy with myself. This is good for daytime but I would not really use it for night time..... Plus the insta 360 R has amazing app too
I have been using the brave 4 now for a couple of years. In 1080p on a tripod it has produced videos subscribers have told me had good picture quality. The time-lapse mode was very useful for watching a repair process that took several hours and condensed it down into just a few minutes. Sound quality not very good always requiring amplification in the editor. Thanks for your review of the later release product.

I know it's been awhile, but for night shots you have to turn off stabilization, it will allow the settings option for low light shooting and boost the exposure. If you leave EIS on it will even cancel any EV adjustments. So frustrating but learned the hard way.

This was a rather gentle review of an ACTION camera somehow I cant imagine this lady tearing through the forest on a mountain bike .but still quite informative
You would be surprised… I grew up in mountains doing many sports… lol
This will suit me fine for some fishing videos on my kayak this year.

I tried this camera mountain biking using just the built in stabilization. First off it is defiantly not a go pro with hypersmooth. It is not that good at keeping smooth videos, but I will say it does take great pictures. Also if i'm taking video of others taking drops or jumps it works quite well. For the price I think it is a good camera, but if you are going to go ripping down a mountain with it, get a gimbal.

I own the Brave 4. I agree it’s a pretty good camera for the price. I took it scuba diving and am very pleased with the output. At $70 it didn’t hurt as much when you flood a cheap camera vs a expensive one.
That said, the instructions and software difficulties really detract from a pretty good camera.
I took action shots with the camera mounted on my helmet and handlebars and the video isn’t smooth at all. It’s choppy and make you ill watching it.
Now this could be related to the settings.
Why not do a video about getting the most from you action cam.

Hi! I gave my best (cheap) action camera to my Grandson, but this sounds better. Maybe I’ll join the fray again. IPX7 is submersible in up to 1m for 30 minutes. Thanks for the review.

just bought camera the reason I exchanged the v50x was the duel screen and being splashproof although it clear each camera firmware settings could be tweaked and i see clones of this camera all over. I wanted something small and I have video from my slrs and PS camera but this much easier to use. I like your downto earth style for your review. We cann ot expect the same results witha 120 dollar comara vs a 300 to 400 cost camera. Thanks for your advise.

Hi I have a question please, I just bought a sony zv-1 and while I was setting it up using a youtube video it got to hot and shut off in about 45 minutes, so I am taking it back. So my question is this, if you had a choice between DJI OSMO POCKET 2 COMBO or a GoPro HERO9 knowing that I am not very techy person, and I am just wanting to take some videos of nova scotia when on vacation what would you pick? and I forgot to say that I do have a Canon SL2 for pictures. your insight would be helpful as ALWAYS.
To be honest I don’t have Osmo Pocket 2 and I don’t have Go pro so for me to answer this would be very unfair... I have seen some sample footage with go pro and it looked amazing... just look at few reviews and make a decision on what you think....

The night mode is a bit grainy that is true… I had just automatic settings

You should be able to go to camera settings and change it there

I find this review very useful as I am looking for a camera to record from a car for city vlogs. I mean not filming the inside of the car but the outside. Not sure if I have to spend almost 300$ for GoPro or DJI Osmo action. Maybe this camera is enough and it is half the price.

It appeared to give you that bobble head look when you did the vlogging shot which is something I hadn't seen on my GoPro. Or is it just me?
Bubble head.... hm.... It is quite difficult to compare it with the GoPro. Go bro is a whole different level and this is just very budget action camera so yes there will be definitely limitations is not going to be the same.... I never tried the GoPro so I really don’t know but I can only imagine that it’s gonna be quite similar like the Insta 360 R I reviewed before. Which one do you have the newest one? How do you like it?
@@ZdenkaDarula I have the GoPro Hero 7 Black. I won't buy a new action camera till this one stops working. I'd rather buy a lens. I like my GoPro except I found I was dependent on it for video and wasn't putting in the practice on my DSLR.

I read the lenses is fisheye. Do all the pics show in fisheye mode? I dont always like fisheye look on all pics

Očekával bych ve videu srovnání s dříve testovanou Brave 6 plus. Na Brave 7 LE je zajímavá odolnost a druhá obrazovka, ale vnitřnosti (snímač a procesor) jsou horší než u Brave 6 plus a i než u kamer z řady V50 a z mnoha testů co sem viděl je to na kvalitě výstupu a stabilizace jasně vidět, je horší.

Unfortunately the unit i just recevice today is terrible. Grainy and fuzzy. No amount of lighting and settings changes this. Returning and hoping the next unit is acceptable.

image quality is great, stabilization is really bad, sound is mediocre but acceptable, worth the money I would say!
My thoughts exactly. I also didn’t like the nighttime mode as much. But as they say you can go to paid for. I think for the price it is quite good
I dont need a actioncam that cannot perform in action. Walking in slowmotion in the woods is not my kind pf action
