I was actually inclined to believe him at first, but as he kept talking, his story was just too well rehearsed.
He remembered exactly what that girl said word for word and that was weird to me.

No innocent man says I was trying to beat the case And nobody pleads guilty to a sex crime if they did it especially someone who has been to prison before. Which he has.

Listen to what he said, he told on himself: he said his first thing was to fight the charge he asked for them to polygraph him... they said if you fail they can use it against you in court n he said nah I can't do that so I'm going to take the plea deal... that's an admission right there.
He also said they could use it against him but he can't use it for his own defense. If you want to quote it, go all the way

That’s actually not true. In some cases, people could be accused of serious crimes they haven’t committed and face serious time. For instance, a man accused of rape could get a plea which allows them to only get a few years in prison, but if they roll the dice, they could get 20+ years. Not saying this guy was innocent though

Actually, a lot of innocent people take plea deals. The criminal justice system coerces people into doing so. I’m studying criminal justice. It’s much more common than you’d think.
You take a plea deal regardless of innocence when your lawyer convinces you that you can't win even if you're innocent. America is not a just country so hell yeah people are taking deals everyday.
Not true... You need to Google the Roshawn C Evens case.. He had no choice but to take a plea deal based off of a legal technicality. He was 17 and his girlfriend was 15 (1 year and 4 months apart). Now he is 38 and homeless because of it.
I was actually rooting for this guy but the further he went on about stuff the more certain I was that he was guilty. He seemed to only be thinking about himself and not his baby mama

I would not want to be around someone who assaulted someone let alone have them around any kids. Too many decent men out there in the world to settle for someone like this. How can you sleep or be intimate without wondering who else did he do that too that is scared of coming forward. If you don’t wonder then there’s an issue. He continues to lie about this crime instead of taking real accountability (even the plea deal was cowardly instead of admitting guilt without it) and tried to throw the test by smoking because he knew he was guilty. Victims get a life long sentence (especially if they got an std or pregnant) but the perp gets a couple years (or none) and still can have a normal life like this cretin here.
People make mistakes. Doesn’t mean they will be shit for life. They can become better people. But continuing to lie isn’t good I will say that.

i am not defending him at all. But what he said is actually true in a way. In reality the courts can trick you if you do not know the system well or you are too young to undertsand. For example this guy indeed is a liar but i myself was facing 15 years for robbery in the 1st degree. Once i told my court appointed lawyer i want a first time felony understaning he went back with what i said and they gave me 10 years probation. Regardless if i was guilty or not. The laws are their for us americans to read, study, and practice them. Thus he is guilty no doubt, there are actually innocent men who would do and say the exact samething he said in this video.

Let me tell you something.sometimes you have to take a plea deal because the state and public defender tells you if it goes to trial n found guilty the sentencing is to the max!
So he decided to take a plea deal for something he didn't do. Then he smoked weed to try and debunk the test. He's guilty of something.
The smoking weed to throw the test off is questionable. However, plenty of people take plea deals when they're innocent. The system is designed to corner guilty people into taking a punishment even if it means punishing those who are innocent in the process. It's not perfect but it's better than nothing 🤷🏾♂️

I had a feeling that Jose was lying the whole time. The cops did the right thing locking him up. And whether he did drugs or not, he was plead guilty
If the cops were truly focused on doing the right thing, why did they offer him a plea deal and not just carry the case with the max sentence? Spoiler, it's because they didn't have enough evidence beyond a screaming woman.

I want you to UA-cam Roshawn C Evens and hear his story. He was 17 years old and got sexually involved with a 15 year old who went to the same school. The girl was 1 year and 4 months younger than Roshawn but because she was under the age of 16, Michigan law automatically removes consent from anyone under 16 years of age. He basically had no other choice but to plead guilty. Otherwise he would have gotten 25 years in prison had he went to trial and lost. You really shouldn't be so quick to judge.
