LIFE IN UK VLOG 31: Holiday In Jersey, Channel Islands 2024 Part 2

This is the Part 2 of our Jersey, Channel Islands vlog.
Join us again everyone as we explored another castle in the Channel Islands, we went to visit Mont Orgueil castle, a 13th century castle. It's very fascinating castle as it was the chosen identity of Jersey, the Channel Islands. It is a very big castle that has a lot of exploring to do. It is a castle on the hill with a great view of the Gorey seaside village. It has also a tower bell on top of it, it is actually my first time to see a bell on a castle.
On our last day on the Channel Islands, we decided to visit St. Aubin, another lovely seaside town in Jersey. It has a beautiful harbour overlooking the St. Aubin's Fort. St. Aubin's Fort is an old bunker and serves as one of the historical landmarks in Jersey. St. Aubin has also a lot of great pub, restaurants to go in to with a sea view.
All in all, we had a super great time in Jersey, it was a perfect birthday holiday for us. We wouldn't mind going back there again..

12:29 you can see France on the horizon.
as a film buff, did you know that parts of "Force 10 From Navarone" was filmed in Jersey? the British HQ was St Georges School and the Air Field they break into to steal a plane was Jersey Airport. there was other scenes filmed in St Peters Valley.
"The Old Court House" was used as "Lilly's Bar" in the TV series "Bergerac".

I really love Jersey, we had a great time there, and yes we are planning to go back there and hopefully visit Guernsey too.. I love to explore more of the Channel Islands ❤️❤️❤️
