Feeling lucky to live near the coast in California....tide comes in tide goes out....it's like regular...no competing in and out and reversing and who knows what. Kudos to the sailors who figure it out and ride that crest...

Sailing Time Flies . No unfortunately. Did in 2005 but a bit basic. Will get some this time though.

Oh..My...Goodness...you were most fortunate NOT to have to anchor in PACIFIC CREEK.
The holding in the creek is MUD and AWFUL to try to anchor.
I ended up TYING up to the Mangroves...but during the night drifted to the other side of the creek...to my amazement.
And THEN...my catamaran had ONE hull on a MUDDY shoulder and the other one in the chanel.
Boat was leaning like crazy for several hours until the tide came in and we left without further incident.
Glad to be gone from there! Never again.
