I generally like to start my day by 2-4 am, especially if I know I will be utilizing truck stops, of course being a truck driver everyone knows the plans we make are always wishful thinking anyway but in general, it tends to work out better when the long haul freight loads your plate, I don’t mind driving at night, I prefer it anymore honestly. A good way to start and finish the day reading Gods word. Like the night driving vibe,always start one hour after sundown much easier on the eyes,also too bad about rough shifts on the truck,hopefully will settle down when you put more miles on the truck.

@@FreightHauler87 If you’re driving through Tennessee on I24 coming down the mountain where you have to pull off to check your brakes before proceeding, I ran my Jake’s all the way down without no issues, you smoke them brakes coming down could turn into a real problem
The only thing I don’t like about KAG is that you have to turn in your paper work physically even tho they have the new tablet to scan them in remotely (quick and efficient) so your pay does not mess up in case you don’t make it in time before the cycle ends(Saturday)
I would guess they'll eventually start paying based on when it was scanned...company I worked for before KAG did that, we had to keep paperwork until we got a message saying we could get rid of it, in case they needed it, but we generally never turned it in.

I agree with you on this. I try to schedule my trips around payday. It’s hard sometimes

I work for KAG and all we have to do is scan paperwork with our tablet. Never have to physically turn it in.
