- Mani Sharma is an Indian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer known for his works primarily in the Telugu and Tamil cinema along with a few Kannada and Hindi films as well. He has over 225 films to his credit with over 100 songs composed. He is widely regarded as 'Melody Brahma' and 'Swara Brahma' for his melodious tunes. His works are noted for integrating Indian classical music with electronic music, world music and traditional orchestra. He is the recipient of three Filmfare for Best Music Director awards South.
In this musically relishing conversation with Prema The Journalist, Mani Sharma opened up on his expereiences working with directors like Gunasekhar, Ram Gopal Varma etc.,, actors like Chiranjeevi etc.,, singers, his gurus Raj-Koti, M M Keeravani, his idol Ilaiyaraaja, about A R Rahman, his career, favourite compositions and melodies, composition in the upcoming movie Shakuntalam and much more. #premathejournalist
