From new Henry to Hook, they cover all of the factions. Abnegation, Candor, Erudite, Amity and Dauntless. I noticed it when the actress next to Lana started in with that quote.
I was one of the people who spent ages just waiting for hook and Emma to get married and completely fangirled when they got married but then I realised that she went from being completely independent to clinging on hook
I agree with you! There was a moment that ships took the show! I understand that romantic love is part of life, that changes you in a way but seemed that the story was the ships and not the actual curse of the moment! I love Regina, Emma, Snow, Charming but when the romance was everything the story was lost. The Charmings (that includes Emma and Henry), Regina and Rumple were the core of the show and most of them were overlooked as seasons went by to give room to the couple of the moment. The strong and independent women were lost -Belle! She doesn't exist w/o Mr Gold! Seemed like Emma couldn't do anything w/Hook but she has powerful magic! Snowing only got themselves in troubles... The story was lost and everything was turned into romance. Nothing against the actors, is the writing. Even now, Regina found her HE when she accepted herself and felt at home -not because of Robin- at the end is S06 her HE was reinforced w/acceptance from the people and now in S07 she's still looking for her HE=a man? She lost everything and we're worried about the bf she doesn't have. Don't get me wrong, I want a partner for her -boy all this years alone- but if she's happy, then we're happy! BTW, the guys are so amazing and handsome but not because of that I want them forced into a relationship and with screentime that doesn't belong to them.
I hate they were defending the reboot in almost all interviews, like I know we were surprised and sad but really watching their panel made me so excited the new season is a "season 1" were the story comes first and the romances are part of it and not the whole story (I love CS btw but I want to see Emma-less Hook and how much he evolved)
The problem isn't that the show is changing. Most fans have a problem with the new versions of the characters themselves. They feel that the multiverse idea is just poor writing and it doesn't fit. Nobody wanted 2 different cinderellas or 2 Alices. The fans wanted to keep characters that still didn't get proper endings to their stories like Zelena, Belle, and their children. Also, the wiping memory curse has already been done at least 3 times and this is just another version of that. Its mainly the writing people have a problem with, not the new actors and not the fact that we have a new main character. I think people just expected a better, more original new storyline. Also, they are afraid that old characters like Regina, Hook, and Rumple will change completely and never regain their original personalities. I mean now Regina is a bartender named Roni who is apparently the complete opposite of Regina. People don't want to lose the characters they grew up with for 6 years.
I don't blame fans for wanting them to continue with characters like Zelena's and I agree the multiverse thing isn't really that exciting but I wanna see what they'll do with it, also most of the fans decided they wouldn't watch since the finale
Kaidan Abernathy Honestly Hook could have been a great character until they hooked him up with Emma. He was fine in season 2. But yeah there is really no reason to keep hook around for season 7. His story has been over.
Daniel, I think he has a new story now - the Emma story ends Episode 1 in early October when Jennifer Morrison leaves Canada for good and returns to LA for her family.
I'm just here for Lana❤️
X2
What a great interview! The cast is so well spoken, I can't wait for season 7 the show desperately needed the change

The fact that someone is independent does not mean she can't have love or lean sometimes on her partner.
