Love mine, best car I've ever had. I usually buy a new car every year because I love cars, but I don't see selling this one for a number of years. By the way, the towing capacity is the best in its class with somewhere just below 8000lbs, can't remember the exact number but it is high. If you are trying to get into a Cayenne, this is probably the best year with 2012 to get. I like that I have the option on the infotainment to use either the touchscreen OR the buttons, unlike many new cars that removed all the buttons and switches and force you to use a three step process on a laggy touchscreen just to turn on the heated seats.

How much are the parts and yes is it still reliable

@@DPDP21 They are really not too bad at all. Yes, they are more expensive than parts for a Toyota, but not always. If you have the air suspension, like mine, you can have superior driving dynamics but they are also costly when they need replacement (mine is still fine at 115k miles). You can look for one that just has standard suspension. BUT, it is not difficult to replace. If you are mechanical at all you'll find it as easy to work on this car as you would on any other car. The V8 is great, I picked the naturally aspirated and not the turbo because people that buy a turbo drive it like one and that means they drive it harder. And the V8 is plenty fast. But the VR6 is very reliable, and the Diesel's are all nice as well. The VR6 is a bit underpowered but it still leaves a 4Runner in the dust. It just depends on what you are doing with it. If you tow a lot I'd go with the Diesel of the V8. If you just go to and from work and want to go for an occasional weekend trip the VR6 is good. If you are a speed demon then the turbo or GTS are a must. But if you go offroad a lot then the GTS wouldn't be for you (stock that is).

@@LikedGecko315 I have one and have used it for two years as an emergency vehicle, it is the best car I ever owned. Very reliable too. And the towing capacity is crazy on it for the size vehicle that it is, almost 8000lbs.

@@sunsetrider45 What's the mileage? I am looking at this 2013 Cayenne GTS that has 90,000 km on it but I'm not sure how its maintenance and costs will hold up. Are they reliable?

CoPilot said that 2011 year model is even worse. It has had the same number of complaints from customers, but these are more severe than those in the 2004 model. Overheating has reportedly occurred at only 15,000 miles, as well as a complete engine failure at under 40,000. Premature brake wear is another known issue, potentially happening as early as 21,000 miles and costing $3,000 to fix. Overall, we recommend avoiding the 2004 and 2011 year models because of the unnecessary stress they’ll give you that other models won’t.
My question is after fix the above issues. Do the issues come out again and again ?
You know that 2011 vehicles must be over 100000km, even more like 200000km 😂
    Thanks

I am at 131,000 miles and I haven't had any of those issues you have mentioned. Just now the rear wiper motor went out, first failure on the car.

@@sunsetrider45 finally, I bought 2014 (958.1) which is only 1 owner before and just 84,000km. Thought no back up cam & carplay, still awesome for me. Of course 4.8L v8 is the best 😎
