Thank you the Video! This was the best video on chaning the SCable spring Cable. My Horn works now! (wasn't working for 6 months). And all the buttons on SW work as well. I bought the part on eBay for $260 bucks! Always a Risk on eBay, but Luck was my side this time. If I would have went to the mechanic, they would have charged me $775 total!! parts + labor.
I followed your instructions to the t, and everything works perfectly..... but now the VSC light on as soon as i turn the car on. I have a faint suspicion that this could be because i messed up the replacement of the steering, by a small amount. Any ideas on how i can correct it?.
Hi @denkdiep, I suggest before you do anything else, you get a code reader and make sure the code is related to the clockspring, then try to clear it and see if that makes it go away. If it is a permanent code related to the clockspring, then I would remove the steering wheel and make sure all the wires are plugged in (there are a lot of them and I've accidentally forgotten to plug one in myself). The physical position of the steering wheel shouldn't cause any fault codes. If it is one or two tooth gears off, it will probably only cause an effect where your tires are straight but the steering wheel is turned slightly, which isn't pleasant. But it wouldn't affect the actual orientation of the clockspring/angle sensor so it shouldn't be the cause of the code. Hope that helps!

I love you. I got it thanks
Your video is flipped and it seemed as if you were tightening the battery bolt instead of releaseing
Appreciate the feedback @kakloloful
