As a Campy fanboy, I can tell you that unfortunately you're right, but you have to bear in mind that the current Campy Super Record EPS has been launched several years before the current Dura-ace and Red Etap, so it's the only one that's not wireless or semi-wireless yet... but I'm confident that the next gen will be semi-wireless like the new Shimano's and the issue will be solved.
@@Hugo-um8nh I don't like that either, and probably not even Campagnolo likes it, that's why they also sell a bar end junction box that looks way better and is way more practical and aero
The unfortunate truth is that with its shrinking market share, Campy is getting poorer and poorer and will probably never be competitive again. It'll probably die off as a groupset brand just like Mavic did.
@@Grunge_Cycling I was worried about the same thing, but the bright sides are they have Pogacar, Bora wheels are always top level, and Ekar did well. Ekar proves they're not afraid of trying new things. It's weird to talk about the original innovator of modern groupsets like this though. They should be synonymous with modern cycling like Nike is to basketball.
Very cool build!!! Though having the frame with all the wiring inside asks for appropriate handlebar as well. Still, one I would be very proud to have! 👍
Beautiful bike, but if weight was the obsession EPS and Disc is a strange choice, if UCI limit was the aim, then you are perfect. The build price is very interesting, but number are all around the place, chain is 55 and not 230, tires are 70 each, not 230, disc are 50 each, etc... on the other hand SRM power meter is not 650 but way more. If 6750 still stand though, it is rather interesting compare to what manufacturers charge for a super record EPS bike. Happy to see Campy!
Hi, I noticed that in your build, when you were installing the fork, it seems that there were no additional washers? I only see the lower bearings, the top bearings and the top retaining ring. Are there washers ?

I don't care how careful you think you measure or how many times you've done this. From measuring fifteen times to the second, cutting it, and putting the seat mast back on to get the final measurement, your butt is puckered the entire time. "please be right"
I’m enjoying the bike so far ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
I thought that about the rotors too. I’ve never seen a bike build where they had to bend the rotors straight from the box. Unless there was some damage done in the shipping process
Funny how Giant refuses to follow the total-integration trend and sticks with a two-piece stem/handlebar setup, but also keeps its silly integrated-seatpost design.
@@ChrisYTube82 That was the Propel! They even brought the propel into mountain stage could you believe xD TCR probably will just be a climbing machine next year tbh. Like aethos from Specialized.
As a Campy fanboy it never stops shocking me how our groupsets are always twice the price, and twice the work.

But with pedals and bidon baskets it will be that +300g more.
Una bestia de bici ,mas enfatisa su peso, debe ser super liviana amazing good👍👏👏

Beautiful. Hope you measure that seatpost twice before it was cut 😁

What’s the torque spec for the steerer expander plug?
Goes to 5n/mm

Love it, but Shimano rotor lockrings? Was that necessary on a full Campagnolo build?
... or that shit-ugly powermeter crank instead of a beautiful Campagnolo Super Record one.

What was the purpose of the black tape on the seat mast during the build?
that's the marker for the battery switch of the Campa EPS.
What is the torque setting of the steerer tube expander plug please
Should be 5-8Nm, but check it out in the expander you're installing to be sure.
brand new rotors and he's bending them.
no quick link for the chain. good luck cleaning that!
Well most of the time the rotors done come true from the factory
you know that missing links (shimano and Sram 11v or above) are just "single use" and when you open it you should use a new one?
@@BICIeCOMPUTERconGabriele You know you can get reusable links
I don't run a quick link and have no issues cleaning my chain and drive train.

How mutch .price of this bike?
What he is using to seal de carbon after the cut?
what is the point of cutting the isp to length then adding a 5mm spacer?
Being easily able to change saddle to another one with a slightly higher profile without the need of cutting the frame again.
@@BICIeCOMPUTERconGabriele why would you change saddle? That's a cadex saddle
without pedals? i thought i could have been lighter
Does the EPS junction box still sit under the stem? I thought it would’ve been more integrated then that by now?
And mounts with zip ties? Surely that isn't their current offering?
A sleeker junction box now exists, it sits either in one of the drops of a handlebar or the frame (if its design allows it)
What's the bar tape that he uses as it looks wider than the usual?
video description states "Bartape Wolftooth Supple Lite Bar Tape"
which Cadex wheelset did you use, c36?
Yes
