It's brilliant that they did one take and didn't edit it, so that's all genuine laughter. When Jack Whitehall starts to laugh Walliams slaps him even more and says "don't laugh!", making Steve laugh, Whitehall laugh again and earning more slaps!
+alex straker.... lol is that so? I have never read that, but I guessed when I first watched it, just based on my knowledge of David Walliams! Why would it be in the script to smack someone and say 'don't laugh' because they can't keep a straight face! I doubt anyone but David Walliams could get away with this kind of thing (you know, because normally it's not nice to hit people!) Lol. :p
Exactly. Nobody posh ever wants to admit they're Upper Class. Every upper echelon elite or Etonian is labelled as 'middle class', but if that were actually true then who the bloody hell is UPPER? How can you get any more posh and privileged than those goons?
@@michaelpalmer5351 Being upper class is not about how much money you have. Being upper class is about heritage and titles, and how you got your money (traditionally through land holdings). Historically many middle class people have had more money than the upper class. Further, I think op is confusing upper middle class and middle class.
When the British say "middle class" they mean what Americans would call 'professional/executive class." They mean doctors, lawyers, business executives. They don't mean people who's income is in the middle or mean of incomes as Americans do.
These people are upper-middle for sure. Lower middle often includes a fair chunk of teachers, accountants, doctors, dentists. Though you will find many upper working class in those jobs too. Especially teachers. But you’ll also find a few upper middle class working those jobs, but it will almost be the elite equivalent, such as a private schools, private doctors etc. These people showed are upper-middle. They rarely take jobs like I just described. Even the executive class. Their work is usually more based around ticking over what they have, and things for leisure and for fun, often that make money, but aren’t really related to making an income, hence why it’s not career work. So charity work, or grand design projects or setting up music and theatre if they like that; or ‘running’ art exhibits, none of which necessarily make any money. Their money usually is from interest, returns, rent, and from letting out their grand hall for weddings. Things like thar. Which a manager who is usually lower middle class would run. These guys Usually are running some kind of family portfolio, or being groomed into family business, or being given funds to start their own ventures. Though you do find architects and designers from upper middle, it is quite rare; though they often go and train as one at university. But usually get into something that’s not a career. Mostly career types are upper working class or lower middle class. Donald trump for example is lower middle class… Though he’s tried to buy into upper middle class. And those are the people he tries to associate with: I can’t imagine he has a great deal of success with the US equivalent to our aristocracy. The old money. They’ll use him to their ends. But they will be way out of his league class-wise. Our upper class is people way beyond this. Aristocracy really. Though much of the young aristocracy these days act much like the upper middle classes. Hence why William got along so well with Kate for example who is upper-middle. I don’t know how many true aristocracy there are anymore. It’s interesting from my point of view because the way my family have come together is from people from lower working class; upper working class; lower middle class. I reckon executive class is in the middle of middle class; then these people filmed here are at the top of middle class.
David Walliams doesn't look like Jeremy Kyle... but when watching this he sort of does in a weird way because of how fantastic his impersonation is; he gets the mannerisms and voice spot on!
Bloody hell, I was wondering when Jack Whitehall would appear, then I realised it WAS Jack Whitehall... He looks younger here...and better without that stupid beard.
I agree.... Jack's episode was my favourite of the series. I think their comedy styles are similar... I haven't seen every comedian in the UK, obviously, but so far Jack is the only one I've seen who can really rival David for the 'biggest drama queen' award! His stand up delivery is just.... so.... he's damn near as over-dramatic about EVERYTHING as David is! They're both awesome! :p
As kaja said, us Brits have a different definition of middle class. What you guys call middle class, we brits call the working-class which is the lowest of the class status. Middle class in uk is above working class, and you are educated, have a good paying job above minimum wage, are quite eloquent speakers and can often sound posh, plus live in good wealthy areas.
@@MultiBigbird01 Actually, I think one key difference is that you can't always go by the wages. In the UK we have relatively high income people that would be considered working class (perhaps even by their own definition). Also, I think this family appears to be at least upper middle class.

I was with my Ex at her cousins once and her Auntie and Uncle said for their wedding anniversary they have booked to go away by themselves. Her two cousins (both girls in their very early 20s) were so angry and basically threw a tantrum whilst trying to blend it because people were around. Their Dad is minted, bought them all expensive cars etc but for once they had been left out. It was one of the most embarrassing things I had ever seen.
the class system is disgusting and should be abolished - who thought it would be a good idea to categorise people even more than we already do in our heads?
Jack Whitehall looks so much better with longer head hair and no facial hair. He actually is more handsome than his old classmate nemesis, Robert Pattinson.
Little side fact for some of you: that’s Jacks real mum (Note how I said “some”. Before those bored ones out there thinking/potentially replying “duhhhh”)

For those who are confused, yes that is his actual mother; no that is not his real father. Hence the joke at the end.
Her name is Hilary Amanda Jane and the actor who played her father is named Michael Knowles
It's an actor go look at Hillary's photo no the same dude😂
I also understand why his mother is in there and not his father. His mother is an actress and his father is a TV producer.
