I own the marvel select Silver Centurion Iron Man and I love that it comes with so many accessories and alternate hands and heads, which gives so many range in terms of display poses.
Another great video. I’d like to see your Toybiz LOTR collection. You’ve mentioned it a couple times so you clearly are passionate about the material. And although Diamond select has been doing a great job with LOTR, Toybiz hasn’t been beat. Too bad neither one has made Durins Bane. Unless Toybiz did and I forgot😂
Great video, love your comparisons. An honorable mention would be the Comicave 1/12 Iron Man 3 Silver Centurion. Although it is movie fig, it's really nice.
Amazing review! I personally think the Diamond Select did it best!! Hoping you do one for Captain America!! The Diamond Select Cap in particular is amazing!
Sometimes I feel like Diamond Select doesn't get enough love for how well they make figures for the price they go for. I get it, people love articulation and not everyone likes figures over the 6" inch mark, but some of my absolute favorite figures in my collection are made by DST and because I typically shelf my figures and don't use them much beyond display they really work for me. So, I'm not surprised DST Silver Centurion won this one.
Totally agree - so many of their figures that could qualify as "oversized" characters are in my Marvel Legends displays - Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man, Destroyer, even Ultron. Heck, I use their Colossus not only because he is an awesome figure, but his size looks perfect when you have him behind several other X-Men in a display. Can't wait for Annihilus
Awesome. Thanks for you got me interesting comics history and action figures for I drew my own superhero who is a teenage girl Keep it up for your videos.
Yeah I think you just have to work with it. When I first got mine I wasn’t super happy with the shoulders since I thought they couldn’t move but then randomly I was playing around with it and the shoulders just got unstuck and now they have full range
@@CarbonScoring the weird thing is I contacted the company and they said, at least from Customer Support, that they’re not supposed to move, but you go online and you will see reviews where the majority don’t move, but then There are some that do. Lol I wonder if being able to move is some sort of physical error lol
Personally, I'd love to see some more villain love (specifically xmen and avengers) in the secret lounge, in the vein of the spider-man villains video you did. But I understand if the lounge vids are on the backburner for now. Stay safe man.
@@CarbonScoring Glad to hear it! I recently refreshed my own X-villains shelf now that Destiny is finally out, and I've got a couple of former Avengers villains on my to-do list for customs to work on over the next few weeks (Yellowjacket II and Atlas) so I'd love to see your takes on either one.
This is why DC Direct/Collectibles (RIP) & Marvel Select always trumped Marvel Legends(at least for me) - they always put Sculpt first over scarifying that for unneeded articulation. Toes articulation for an Iron Man figure?! DC Direct will always in the best figures in that price range, especially the Blackest Night line
Comic book wise when it comes to articulation, Marvel select did it best The shoulders to the best of my recollection never moved, & the head had very limited movement. I think it was Bob Layton (but don't quote me on that) who said something along the lines of this is the worst aerodymanic suit with those massive things sticking out, plus the fact that he can hardly look up You also left out Select's stand & boot thrusters in accessories
Awesome. Thanks for you got me interesting comics history and action figures for I drew my own superhero who is a teenage girl Keep it up for your videos.
He actually looks like an IRON man
True, true!
@@CarbonScoring hi carbon you said in your wolverine he was second for marvel actions figures you don't think ironman is number 2 instead?
@@harryrao4296 You are probably right - Iron Man is likely number 2
Who do you think the top 3 are@@CarbonScoring
Best Iron Man uni IMO.
True classic!
Toybiz also has the Tony Stark face under the removable faceplate.
Hasbro also did that for the first Iron Man movie, I wish they would bring that back
I know - I totally forgot to show that - I was gonna include it during the accessories section - I’m such an idiot!
I own the marvel select Silver Centurion Iron Man and I love that it comes with so many accessories and alternate hands and heads, which gives so many range in terms of display poses.
Wow! Wow! I think the only other great video I could ever want, is a Punisher mystery box or panels to plastic :)
Punisher panels to plastic is a good idea
An excellent comparison and a very fair one! Glad price was the tiebreaker and happy to see the right figure won
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback!
A new carbon scoring video about all the action figures of my favorite iron man armor? I might just pass away right now.
Wait! Watch the video first!!!
Silver centurion is my personal favorite iron man suit thank you for doing a whole video on it
i personally love this suit, the suit he wore in the first marvel comics i ever got
One of my favorite iron man armors along with model 20 and the modular armor from the 90s!
the west coast figure takes really well to one of those silver/chrome pens.
Fav iron man suit
Primary colors printed better with the technology and paper quality in the 1960’s

Great suggestion! I’ll have to buff up on my lore before breaking those out! It is actually 2 full boxes!
@@CarbonScoring that’s great to hear. The LOTR lore is deep and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Take your time💯💯💯
Diamond select 👊
It really is sweet!

Good call! I’ll check that one out!
Diamond select definitely did it best
It is an awesome figure!

Great video but I got Mandela effected into thinking Mafex made a Sliver Centurion 😅
Weirdly there are some of the marvel select silver Centurion, where the shoulders do move
Yeah I think you just have to work with it. When I first got mine I wasn’t super happy with the shoulders since I thought they couldn’t move but then randomly I was playing around with it and the shoulders just got unstuck and now they have full range

@@jlcarid that would be kinda cool, that just means I have a special copy😊
@@jlcarid wow - that is fascinating - I’ll reach out to Zach Oat with Diamond Select and see if I can get and answer!
Yo wake up carbon scoring posted
It’s SATURDAY!

Honourable mentions to LEGO, Minimates & Hot toys
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it - I really appreciate everything you do for our hobby - keep the information coming! Big fan!
This suit reminds me of iron man 2 suit when he was fighting whiplash
This is what that movie suit was based on!
Please do this format for other characters!
I think price should be a category
Comic book wise when it comes to articulation, Marvel select did it best

Can the Mezco figure use the rocket that came with the Toybiz release?
Just so you know, thos silver centurion shoulders DO move. Heat that sucker up
I gotta get one of those heat gun things!
🧐nice
Glad you liked it!
Do you have any of the diamond select marvel pvc statues? Was considering starting a collection
Do a Guardians of the Galaxy Mystery box
That could be fun
I never understood why iron man had red and yellow, he should be more silver or IRON colored
While that makes sense - the red and yellow just looks soooo good!
@@CarbonScoring i have to agree with you on that one
Day two of asking for a Guardians Of The Galaxy Mystery box
Ps (please do it😥👾🤖👩🐺🐗tree)
It is in line, but there are a ton of videos in front of it
Marvel select is the best. I would like to see marvel select head on the mezco
Mezco shoulders are too small. Head is awful
I think it would be too big
Hiii
Can you put the marvel select head on the mezco
I didn’t try but I doubt it - they are not the same scale
Awesome. Thanks for you got me interesting comics history and action figures for I drew my own superhero who is a teenage girl

@@CarbonScoring thanks.
