hi suellen, this is richard, im on my wifes computer, l want to say l appreciate you very much, you have been a fantastic person in the kind comments you always leave for me to read, l have read them all, thank you for watching this channel, god bless you
Ever since I started watching the fishing machine my quantity and quality of fish have improved I use many methods that have came from this channel that no other has been able to help me with
As a little boy, every Sunday night on TNN had a couple hours of fishing shows, Roland, Jimmy.. the greats, it was the highlight of my week. I'm here to say this channel is as good of fishing content as there has ever been in this country! Keep it up RGTFM! We're lucky to have you.
Love your channel And your personality. You are like a 3rd grandpa to my son. Thank you for putting up these videos. In the world of we lice in today they bring a ray of much needed sunshine.
terry, thank you very much for asking sir, l want you to know how much l apreciate you for watching this channel and as far as our recovery went, we all are well from covid, its rougher on some more than others, my son derrick had it the worst, it took 20 days for him to beat it but hes fine now, took me 18 days, took mama sue 5 days, god bless you brother
Just wanted to say im glad your better and back to makeing videos sir ....your a very young man that i love to see you back to fishing and makeing videos for a very long time .ive have learned alot from your videos and after getting out of the military, fihing is the only thing that has help me and relax me .thank you and hope one day im able to meet you and fish with you ..
You, Mr. Gene, are the best there is. Thank you for ALL of your videos! They bring joy to my day and I’ve learned so much from them! I think I can speak not only for myself but every other person that watches your channel.
Great show love your attitude, always look forward to your videos. Maybe one of these days I could go fishing with you. May God bless you Richard! Your friend from tennessee.
Oh, and I'm glad you all are better. My wife had it and she was really sick for one a week and a half. I Praise God I didn't catch it. I can only imagine it was by His hand that I didn't because I was right here with her through it all. She still has problems sleeping because it left some junk in her chest that seems to linger. Love you brother and what you do. It's an inspiration to watch you explain the how's and the why's of your fishing. Keep it up and tell momma Sue I've got one just like her here at home. She's a keeper.
Ever plan to fish NE Arkansas? Would be awesome to show ya around! Great video as always sir, have learned ALOT from your videos. Fishing, well, is a sport second to none! Wooooo!!
Fishing is a sport second to none 👍... and your right you used to rule the roost until she plucked all your tail feathers out and now you're henpecked lol 😂 We love you Richard 👍🙏 Awesome day
Richard! Thank you for all your videos. They've been a great source of info for me in learning how to target different species. One thing I've had trouble with lately is figuring out how to bank fish in heavy current right below dams (been fishing directly below Wilson Dam in Florence, AL). While I've been trying to target white bass/stripers I can't get a single bite on anything I throw (jigs in various weights + soft plastics, lipless cranks, spoons, inline spinners, etc.). Would love to see any advice you have for that.
Love your show Richard. Please keep up the good work. I am having some health problems and can't go fishing yet. So I fish with you alot. Thank you sir......
Off to Weiss Lake with the fishin boat tomorrow. This video was perfect. Thanks for all your help! New to fishin but watched lots of your videos. Hope we don’t get rained out. Wish us luck! 🐟
That is some fun fishing. That is my favorite choice of bait. I don't use pink real often, but I have caught a lot of bass on all of the different colors. Sure do enjoy watching your very informative utubes.
RGTFM, Merthiolate was the old antiseptic we used to put on cuts in the old days. We used to call it monkey's blood. It was that same color as that zoom worm.
Great video as always,I just picked up that Diawa Fuego 2500 last week at Bass Pro in Chattanooga and it is probably the best spinning reel I've ever had,I paired it with a 6'0 medium Ugly Stik Elite and I absolutely love it,I watch everyone of your videos and get excited every time a new one comes out, happy fishing RGFM👊🎣
I am still looking to incorporate some of your live bait technics (attending other issues slowed me down this summer) then here you come w/ plastics snaggin bass too full already. Sum guys hav all the luck! (...or maybe sum are just more hard-headed about what they wanna do? hmmm)
Back in the 70s I was fishing the same way on the St Johns River in FL. I had a smoke in one hand and a beer in the other as I threw into a laydown tree. Instead of really setting the hook I just jerked a little. The biggest largemouth I ever saw in my life jumped out of the water and spit out the worm. Both my friends who lived there thought it was over 10 pounds. I didn't get another bass bite the rest of the day.
suellen, l want to say thank you very much for all the great comments you leave for me to read. l have read every one you have sent to this channel, im using mama sues computer, im not to good with it, thank you for watching and god bless you suellon
@@lisahelms8030 look I'm not dying yet but I'm going to say this to you, my dying wish is to get to fish with you Richard. Much love to you. every single one of your videos lifts my heart lifts my spirits and I love that you acknowledge God you're just the best there is man!

RGTFM, Merthiolate was the old antiseptic we used to put on cuts in the old days. We used to call it monkey's blood. It was that same color as that zoom worm.
We called it Mercurochrome
That color is actually bubblegum

Gene, have you ever fished for crappie in the big MS lakes on I55?
Six pound trilene and make it interesting. My brother would also use a light action rod. Nice fish!
What’s that big green mass of vegetation above the surface. Is that the eel grass that has grown tall?
Love it
I am still looking to incorporate some of your live bait technics (attending other issues slowed me down this summer) then here you come w/ plastics snaggin bass too full already. Sum guys hav all the luck! (...or maybe sum are just more hard-headed about what they wanna do? hmmm)

Is there a trick to making a bass taste as good as a bluegill or crappie? Maybe soaking the fillets in buttermilk or saltwater?
I've eaten some that was soaked in beer. I'd have to say it was a tasty meal.
Can you share where you are
I have a lot of trouble get the fish to bite a trick worm in the fall for some reason. They're blowing up everywhere but just don't want my bait
Nice! Roll Tide!!
a pink zoom fluke would prob work well also.
