You're a good groomer but.. uh... A 4 blade doesn't leave an inch of fur. A 4 blade leaves just under half an inch. 3/8ths. And you said you didn't demat the dog, but that's literally what you did. You dematted his whole body. IE took it from severely matted, to just tangled up. Dematting doesn't always mean using an actual dematter. Dematting is the process of removing mats in any way. Not trying to argue semantics! It just surprised me when you said you left an inch of fur. You're clearly a wonderful groomer and I love watching your content.

Yes because I wanted to save his coat. If I were to trim it when it was dirty I would have to shave him down to the skin.
