The deprived person is also the one whom Ramadan comes and leaves him in the same state; disobeying Allah, insisting on his sins and not repenting, not doing his best to worship Allah or increase in any acts of goodness.

12:26 If a person intends a good deed but are withheld because of a circumstance not under their control (eg sickness, menstruation), then Allah records them as if they have done the deed perfectly
13:10 2 characters of the deprived: Those who fail the obligations (ie. fardh prayer) & those who sin intentionally on that night
15:05 Every deed you do on the night is multiplied like you're doing a 1000 months of that good deed

During my menstruation I like to increase my dhikr and dua, we can still praise Allah and receive deeds for that! While it feels disappointing, you are obeying Allah by not fasting/praying, so do not be disappointed, thank Allah for his mercy instead. ❤ I hope that helps!

It was narrated from `Abdullah ibn Mas`ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A woman's prayer in her room is better than her prayer in her courtyard, and her prayer in her cabinet is better than her prayer in her room.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud, 570; At-Tirmidhi, 1173. This Hadith was classed as authentic by Al-Albani in Sahih At-Targhib wat Tarhib, 1/136).
“Her room” refers to a woman`s own room in the house, and “her courtyard” refers to the central area (in a traditional Arabic house), off which all the rooms of the house open.
A cabinet is like a small room inside the large room, in which personal items are stored. (Commentary from `Awn Al-Ma`bud).
