If you’re still searching for a manga/anime like „the seven princess as the thousand year labyrinth“ I’d recommend you „angels of death“ it’s about a girl who finds herself in a house/area with different floors. In each of the floors is someone who wants to kill her and she needs to get out of the building. There is a different challenge/puzzle on each floor. It’s pretty dark and sad in my opinion but it’s great!
Thanks for the recommendations! Orange is on my read-soon list for sure. Another short series that I love is My Brother’s Husband - I couldn’t put it down!
YAY manga!!! Love manga, but I usually get the volumes from my library 💔 I've only read Orange out of these ones and I LOVED it 😊😊 Didn't know about Orange Future, I'll need to check it out when quarantine is over~
I really liked it as it gave us a sort of extra conclusion/epilogue, but I know there were some people who found it unnecessary. I think I remember a forward from the author saying she always meant to revisit that world a few years later and orange: future is what became of that.
Just bought Millennium Snow . It's my 1st manga I bought . Have read only vol1&2 . Its a very nice and especially the 2nd vol . Thank You for recommending me this Manga .
Love this video! I just bought Uzumaki today, I cant wait to get to it, I looooove Junji Ito, it's so creepy I'm really intrigued by Seven Princes of the Thousand Year Labyrinth, I have to check it out!
I love Junji Ito. Uzumaki was the first book of his I read, but I've now read everything that has been translated into English (except his latest book that came out right around when social distancing started). And I LOVED Seven Princes! I haven't seen anyone else read it, and I've never found anything else like it! I hope you enjoy!
@@ChelseaZhao ❤️ I’m going to order the orange manga collection 1 today 😆 so excited I watched the anime but I want to read the manga!!! And again Thankssssss
Ooh! That's such a touch question. If you're looking for a more slice of life, but with scifi ish elements, try Orange... But you'd like more action/adventure, I say try Seven Princes of the Thousand Year Labyrinth!
I find that if you try it and like it, it sucks you in. But I know that the reading style (right to left) can be a bit confusing at first, and so some people just don't like it. =]
definitely recommend “the horizon”! i don’t think there is a physical copy but i absolutely loved it! its pretty short ( i finished it in less than two days ) , it’s VERY dark , deals with heavy topics ( war , suicide , insanity , and death ) but it is my favorite manga. it’s about two kids trying to survive alone while their country is at war , that’s all i’ll say because i think it’s better to go in without knowing too much :))
@@ChelseaZhao yay!! let me know when you finish it i love talking about it. it reallllyyyy messed with my head and my morality. questions like “ was murder okay in this situation? is murder ever okay in any situation? did he do that right thing? was she wrong? was he wrong? “ popped up throughout the entire manga and i really .. r e a l l y love deep conversations with ethics
i’ve slowly been getting into manga but i’ve only been reading digital copies. i want to get physical copies but i don’t want to spend $100 on one series 😫 , this video is so detailed thank you so much for the recommendations!im thinking about the seven princess series :))

Why didn't you include One Piece? it is one of the best short manga series out there.
I truly can't tell if you're joking because we're on the internet... But 1, I haven't read it yet. (Oops!) and 2, it's sooo long. =p

I like to take a break from a long series and read something short or when I finish a long series I'll read something short as well 😃
Yes! I love manga/comics/graphic novels for just this reason. They are such good, fun, quick reads inbetween other books!

Is that the Harry Potter chocolate frog in the back?
Yep! It doesn't have the chocolate in it though. I ate that. 😂
Part 2 plsss
