This is an excellent video much better than the other challenges. You can see the bids and card play side by side , no need to watch two separate videos. More like this please.
This format was cool, interesting to see the differences between you and Max, and even when you both made the same play there were often slight differences in your explanations which was really useful :-)
It seems it was, because everything else was identical except for the robot playing that 3rd c, which they did presumably knowing exactly where the clubs were on Max's board.
@@stich0913 but they also knew where the clubs were at the other table after two rounds. It's unclear why the robot switched there, diamond might be necessary on layouts where partner has K and decl can run hearts, but club will win if partner has either the Q or the 8 of spades.
Regarding dead minimums on bd four, I think they failed to consider a hand like Axx KQxx x xxxxx. That’s a nine count that gives SOME play for slam. But adding the queen of spades moves it to the 11 count that Max mentioned. Not saying that slam is cold on these constructions but I think they could’ve considered a few more hands with no values in clubs.
I liked the format but the hands were terrible for IMPs. 3: Interesting that your superaccept goaded a diamond shift and Max's didn't. The whole match came down to bot idiocy. With all of those juicy spade spots on the board, an uppercut is absolutely indicated. Even if it is wrong, the defense has a good chance at a red suit winner. 7: I would have taken the finesse, expecting it to lose, and play a diamond to my J, hopefully establishing the suit. That may goad a S return - I can only get hurt on a heart return. Of course when the SJ wins the hand is over.
Max lost mainly because the robots randomly played a better defense against him in hand 3? Did I get that right? It doesn’t look like Max did anything wrong there, just got unlucky.

Love the video and love the format, my favourite play was max pitching the ace of clubs in 4h to prevent a potential ruff!
Agreed, totally gave me a new angle.
Agree, nice touch.
Max did a great job with the teaching moments. This was a very enjoyable format.
I super-accept this format.
Thanks for creating this format. It is excellent.
Smochi's superaccept showing dbl clubs was deciding. Well played.
Great match and explanation thanks hope you can do this again in the future Many thanks Col.Freck

You're on a winner with this new format, looking forward to more in this vein.
Really enjoyed this. As often as possible in this format please!
thumbs up for the new format
Great format! Thank you, Pete and Max!!!
Thanks very much very enjoyable presentation. I wonder if it was Max's choice of 3c superaccept on Board 3 that scuppered him?

Very enjoyable, thanks. It's a pity the difference really came down to an inscrutable bot shift on board 3.
Fantastic match. I really enjoyed the format.
Nice editing! Made it so interesting!

No mis guess position in 4s to be fair as after Club club club the Q is mandatory as lho well overruff and rag spade .
A well made video 👍
Bridge is way too complicated for me. I'll stick to Euchre.
Board 3...definitely wouldn't consider super-accept with such a weak spade suit.

pretty much
I mean Max...
Please, shorten the monologs, thx!
