Having watched all of your astral projection videos now, without any sycophancy, I can only send praise of your gnosis. Without wishing to be a nuisance may I relate my first real but unintentional projection when I was seven years old. Playing with a friend, suddenly in a fit of childish 'madness' he pushed me off a 10 foot wall. Luckily a trash can ( is that the correct American term for the British dust bin?) broke my fall onto a concrete pathway. However my physical body was knocked out cold. I found myself in a more colourful atmosphere than the Earthly one in a living presence which I now called the HGA. I could see my body. I saw my mother crying hysterically and my sobbing father holding my body. As an ex army man he never usually showed such emotion. In my astral state of feeling free I saw my friend lie to his father about the event. I saw the colours of his aura turn a horrible brown colour with a horrible yellow streak of light running up his back. I sympathised with him because he was very afraid that he had killed me. Back at home hovering over my body with my parents II heard clearly their tearful conversation. I did not want to return but their tears drew me back to my body, awakening to pain and a bloody nose. I related to them all that I had seen with my astral eyes. Their upset was replaced by fear and my father forbade me to ever talk about it. Their fear was that, in my father's exact words were, " people will think you are crazy." That is the big problem with humanity, worrying about what other people think. I must say with humour this method of astral projection is not recommended even though it left me with a 'loose' projection facility. In all honesty after initial terror I found facing 'the abyss' hilarious in later life. Thank you again Mr Christopher for your great work. I have no doubt you will be remembered as one of the greats along side the best of the Golden Dawn. It is amusing that the greats are appreciated after their death. But then they are truly without ego and have no need of hero worship like some of the well studied bogus magicians we both have seen. ❤from🇬🇧

35:56 I had the chance to spend time in Nunavut, Northern Canada, I noticed a significant increase in vivid dreams and astral perceptions. I believe the heightened geomagnetic activity, coupled with the extreme light cycles disrupting circadian rhythms, played a role. The isolation and natural purity of the region also seemed to amplify subconscious and astral experiences. Funny enough the place felt like being on the surface of another planet.
I’d like to thank you Lyam for creating this channel and sharing your views on these topics it’s really fascinating

Hi Lyam! Thank you for the fantastic video! I've been studying astral projection for many years now. I was a more active practitioner a few years ago and got pretty good. I would like to note that there is a drastic difference between astral projection and lucid dreaming. I personally have had a more difficult time with lucid dreaming than I do with astral projection. My intuition tells me that it's because I'm a light sleeper, and for lucid dreaming you want to be in a delta state. With my very light sleeping habits, I'm closer to a theta state, which is more effective for astral projection. To clarify, the difference between the two, is that lucid dreaming is in a dream world where you can control/manipulate the environment. Astral projection is actually leaving your body, so you are in the "real" world, in "real" time. For instance, in my astral body, I could observe a friend's conversation, and upon returning to my body I could blow their mind by calling them up and reporting what they had discussed in that conversation. The environment in the astral world has a dark overtone visually, but otherwise just resembles wherever you are and you have no control over the environment, being that it is just the astral overlay of the physical world. I can recommend some fantastic books on it if you are interested. I am very grateful that I found this channel! Thank you for your wisdom!

For practitioners who aren't as proficient as you are, the distinction between lucid dreaming and astral projection doesn't offer much help. That's mainly because clairvoyance easily shifts back into lucid-dream mode when one begins to think about oneself and how one might benefit from the astral trip. Becoming self-conscious tends to put us back into the mode of "What's in this for me?" which will shift us back into the dream world. The Ego is, after all, a dream character.

Have been keeping dream diary for over 2 yrs now. Got so I can usually recall most on waking, getting up for the day. I tend to write in as much detail as possible. Draw what Viz images I recall. Note feelings, moods, sounds etc.
Had powerful NewMoon dream were she put her arm into my mouth, gently, tasting of jasmine.
Sometimes conversations. Sometimes silence. Sometimes I'm just observing. Other times I'm actively involved, actions, events.
Note my reflections on dream possible meanings. Can relate some to own anxiety, fears etc.
Had most magnificent angelic feeling meetings too.
    Better than Netflix!

I really liked this video. I find it be really accurate. I remember astral projecting one time where it seemed like i blipped out and then reappeared in the astrals. I haven't been able to do it much, but this seems to make much more sense now. I also really like the blue blocking glasses you've talked about. I find it's really all i need to get good sleep. You mentioned trying to see if your dreams align with the lunar cycles also. Damien Echols has talked about the further you go in high magick, the less the effects of the zodiac, planets, and elements have on you. Theres a phrase he uses called "breaking the chains that bind you to the stars". You might find it interesting to talk to other adepts and see if they've had a similar experience tracing back their dreams to see if they align with the lunar cycles. I'd assume you're walking above the waves of consciousness so to speak.

Sleeping on the back for me just works better for astral work because I stay conscious on my back... I have no clue why! Maybe just because it's less common and I have association with sleep and laying on my sides. Sleeping on one's right side sounds like it plays into the psychological model of lateralization (ie. different functions for different hemispheres), so the blood would flow to your (theoretically) more creative and non-verbal right-brain.

On the topic of entering the dream gate or canal between worlds, it felt like a falling sensation for me (specifically for astral projection) but I was just unable to separate the conscience from the body, I could definitely feel that my physical body was asleep and that I had a sort of physical paralysis which was an interesting experience. Just before the falling sensation, there is a feeling of “high vibration” as described elsewhere, but for me it was more of a warmth and tingling sensation.
I will make some more attempts soon. Very inspired by your work. Thanks for the share Lyam!

      (from Hamlet, spoken by Hamlet)
To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die-to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation
      Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream-ay, there's the rub:
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause-there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of dispriz'd love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th'unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovere'd country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience doth make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry
And lose the name of action

First and foremost I send my respect and praise for your profound book 'the art of tranformation'. Your work on the four worlds and and sephirothic colours only hinted at by Israel Regardie and Violet Firth will be key in the future to younger generations. In one of your videos you summed up some of the modern day puffed up magicians as assholes made laugh in total agreement. I've seen some in all their theatrical attire not using their equipment as a first stage as a means to engage the necessary relaxed focus and concentration but merely a means to gain more followers who in the early stages cannot 'see' that they are being duped by first class hasnamuss (Gurdjieff) individuals. You sir, are a true magician. I hope you do not mind me sending these comments but my time is coming to an end having maybe 50% chance of 3 years left in this body as diagnosed by a Specialist Doctor. I have no fear of death but expressed to the aforesaid Doctor pain killers as the illness becomes worse. I certainly do not wish for any sympathy. I know that death is like ridding oneself of a heavy diving suit or coming out of Plato's cave and experiencing the real world. Once again I thank you for the help you provide for our future generations who hopefully do not have the dense 'concrete' of ego which seems to be the sad state of humanity today, who like the kabbalistic blind force of the sun portrayed by Sorath (666 - gematria) destroy the Earth. Question, does sleep paralysis is the entrance to the Astral?

    • @lyamchristopher2393
      @lyamchristopher2393  2 місяці тому

Whenever there is a fictional scenario, we are in the Astral. All stress-response interpretations of the universe are fictional, and therefore they are astral. Sleep paralysis can be a special kind of astral experience, one in which we are invited to die to all stress-response interpretations of anything whatsoever. So one could say that sleep paralysis is a gateway OUT OF the astral. An opportunity to wake up and enter the physical world and see it as it is. Perhaps for the first time ever.

I would like to add my two cents on the subject. Before I do I want to make it clear that I am in no way suggesting I'm some great magician who can astrally travel at will. The fact of the matter is that I've only done it a handful of times willfully. I have had lucid dreams & I agree with everything you've said thus far about LD being a form of astral travel but I think there is a difference. Perhaps it's only one of "what level" you are projecting at, I don't know.
The first time I tried I bought the Dennings & Phillips book & I was about 15 or 16 at the time, I'm 52 now. The truth is that I half assed using the techniques & I wasn't getting much result as would be expected for not following the instructions, I was trying to project every single night though. However, one night I was exceptionally tired, almost unnaturally tired & I literally said to myself, "if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't" & I went to bed. The moment my head hit the pillow I had this strange sensation that my whole body was violently vibrating or being electrocuted, it wasn't painful in any way just weird. I immediately sat up in bed or I thought I had physically sat up & instinctively I looked at my arms & hands. All I saw was an electric blue outline of them, much like blue sparks with gold flecks with in it. For whatever reason, it didn't dawn on me that this was unusual from a physical perspective. I then looked around the room & I remember so distinctly how unusual it was.
Everything was very dark yet somehow I could see the whole room. I looked to my left where there was a bookshelf & I could see the books clearly with the words on the spines yet somehow I could not decipher the letters & read them. What was very unusual though is that when I looked at a particular book, & I don't remember which one it was, I was seeing not only in 3 dimensions but almost around the book. It was if I were looking through a bubble lens. In other words I could not only see the spine of the book but the cover, the back & some of the front edge of the book simultaneously. During all the strangeness it did not dawn on me that any of this was not normal. Maybe a little unusual but not abnormal.
At this point I had the sensation that I was falling off the side of the bed & I tried to catch myself. It was then that I started floating on my back across the room getting higher & higher. Suddenly I realized what was going on & I tried to take control of it. When I did so It felt like I literally snapped back into my body. This was the first successful willful attempt but one could say it wasn't willful at all & they would be more or less right.
The second time was terrifying & I was able to purposefully & consciously leave my body. I felt the layers of the roof as I passed through it, I looked down at the house & saw the trees around it, I even looked up at the moon which was out & everything just had a normal appearance except for the stars. They appeared as more or les the same but as much bigger points of light in the sky. Here is where it gets terrifying. All I did was look at one particular star & asked myself, "I wonder what is there". In an instant I was travelling toward that point of light at some unfathomable speed. It was like star wars where a ship jumps into hyperspace & the stars seemingly stretch out into beams. I felt this strain throughout my body but it was not painful. I could not take the experience & started saying "No! No! No!" & then I suddenly snapped back into my body & I was awake physically.
I've had a few others, even one that confirmed the existence of a fence long gone that I had no knowledge of but none of them were dreamlike. Just as I can tell right now I am "awake" & when I am dreaming in my sleep. Anyway sorry for the length of this post.

......when you said we come from the "Astral" world and go back to the astral world.
it leads me to thinking based on occult books i've read before like "Alchemy and the Alchemists" by Robert Swinburne Clymer, a Rosicrucian.....and also Paracelsus
is that the Astral world or the Unseen world is the "microscopic" Mineral world in reality.
if that is the case, and I believe it is then the entities are microscopic Particles with a connected consciousness....maybe millions of individual particles or Microbes I guess you could say, that form one collective consciousness in a way, and that is what can influence human beings, by entering into them....almost like an infection, some infections being more beneficial than others maybe.
But this also holds true in Astrology as well I believe, there was an Experiment Jung talks about in his Book Synchronicity I believe, of a scientist who did an experiment on cows using electrodes to see the effects the conjunctions and retrogrades had on their brain, and he found clear evidence for it that it did......
but that's because the Planets are composed of different compositions of metals, having a greater amounts of a certain metals or elements, and when that planet which is barreling through space is say conjunct with earth, we are bathing in the trail of that planets minerals.......so say if we were conjunct Venus the planet mostly composed of copper, the effects of that planets mineral trail that we cross will have an effect on the earth, the people, the way we think, the plants, they way they grow and develop, the animals, the way they act.
Which is why you have to collect certain herbs during certain times, and In alchemy prepare certain tinctures during certain times, because the influence or "energy" you need to be present in the tincture or herb has to be observed. during the times when we are in the trails of those planets would be what it's referring to.
this visualization should give some insight into why during the great conjunction the world seems so unstable, two of the solar systems largest bodies are very close to one another, and we are crossing both of those trails of very rich energies, it's like we are being invaded by the energy of those two planets at once, it's no wonder the world goes bats during those times.

Edited to add: I used to do this when I was younger and bored in church. I’d imagine a figure (while my eyes were open) walking upon the stage to the pulpit where the pastor was standing. I could “see,” superimposed onto the waking world, these characters doing different things. I directed all of it and animated the figures.

To me, that's simply visualization. Is there anything unusual you'd like to point out about that?

@@lyamchristopher2393 Thank you for answering my question. I was just curious if it was classified differently than “eyes closed,” visualization.
I attend the Vedanta Society and when I was initiated we were given specific instructions to follow. I’ve been comparing the Advaita Vedanta ideas with the ones you present on this channel and find it very interesting! I am enjoying this channel immensely 😊👍

I think I’m in Briah in sleep literally I try to analyze my dream surrounding but it just makes no absolute sense and can’t be described, just analyzing ideas that don’t seem to correlate to reality , seems like nothing but thoughts.

There is no need to analyze the dreams. For the purpose of achieving lucidity, simply identify the things that could have clued you into the fact that you were dreaming. Let go of any apparent “meaning.”
Analysis of dreams, if that’s what you want to do, is fairly easy. There is a formula to follow-which few people know.

You might want to check the video about motivation. And pay attention to the need to DO something. Perhaps it would be better to sit and do nothing. Nothing at all. Not even "meditation."

You know, referencing the kinda tea is actually almost taking me out for a half-second. It's almost the same vibe as seeing the OG Ringwraiths in LotR and going, oh they're like "Death Eaters" from HP. 😑 I'd rather reference Dr Strange and a host of cooler more intriguing fiction, somehow! Needless rant but there you go. Inevitable ubiquitous reference, I guess...
