Proud of you sir and to all who brought justice to this and other traitors to the badge you wear. I'm in Oklahoma, I hope our jail house deputies here are so upstanding.
Police should always hold themselves to a higher standard because the amount of trust he betrayed and the amount of danger he brought to his fellow officers and civilians is endless. I can’t even imagine an inmate getting high for the first time WHILE IN CUSTODY! He should face the maximum punishment to send a clear message to anyone else who maybe thinking about doing something as dumb.
don't think for a second this is the only Detention deputy doing this kinda of thing they sneak in drugs, cell phones, they routinely inmates civil rights
Yes this is the same guy that allowed one of detectives to run over a murder a child in a crosswalk on Florida Ave the defective left the scene of the accident involving death and major injuries he didn't return for over three hours he only returned because witnesses and bank cameras caught his tag number So yeah how much integrity does he have none as far as I'm concerned He Not a Cop he's a politician
Folks, prisoners have too much money in jail, outrageous. They need to pay RESTITUTION to their victims for the crimes they committed not just seat in jail! Government/IRS wants to monitor $600 made by law abiding citizens, working to support themselves, smart enough, entrepreneurial enough to provide for themselves & criminalize work & businesses. People on welfare & in prisons “making” more money than hard working innocent people! This insanity got to stop!
That's not how it works. They don't just get money, we have to send it and its for commissary. The deputy most likely had the inmates sign into their cash app accounts using his phone. They don't just have access to that.
@@ElizabethKlimas that's their personal money that's already in their account before hand. I don't know how that's too much money. We don't know what was in their cash app account or how much these brownies cost.
We had a lot of burglaries in the area since you are walking by ... we need to see your ID.. so everyone pays.. When it's the police it is only one bad apple every time.
your legally required to ID unless you've commuted about to commit or they RAS that you've committed a crime Ask any officer if they know the 1st, 2nd, 4th, an 5th amendments you'll be surprised at the answers most of the time after you ask that question the Cop will immediately ask for your ID under a False Narrative it's Pathetic
I find this press conference disturbing at how naive Sgt Chronister is and has been as to how this misconduct (or “rodeo”) works. There is a much more sophisticated network involved to get contraband into facilities. Deputies don’t risk their careers over a few grand. Sadly, there are threats to larger family units by gangs or organized crime syndicates to obtain multiple inside people, including internal affairs.
Good grief, if all LEO's looked like this guy, stayed in shape - wow. Also, the food that the jail guards are being fed is not "free of charge", I'm sure the taxpayers are picking up the tab. That being said, jail guards should not be treated like a real law enforcement officer. No offence, but they are jail guards.
Even tobacco can start fights inside over it, and when a officer finds contraband during random searching. The inmate that it belongs to can get violent.

Being a jail guard has got to be the suckiest job on Earth!

Thank you Sheriff Chad Chronister, Action well done 👍 Keep up the good work hillsborough County supports your leadership
I like this man. He reminds me of how things used to be.
😂
Shameful and embarrassing to the good, great HCSO deputies of which I was proud to serve for several years.
Every Florida sheriff wants to be Grady Judd.
Or now Chad Chronister

"...Takes an oath to all that is good and just..." sounds quite ambiguous to me. What exactly do they take an oath to?
Officer Clinton took an oath and still lied under oath. A lot of law officers are straight up liars
To uphold the Constitution and the responsibilities of the office of the Hillsborough County Sheriff.
Damn, imagine throwing away your career for a measly $1,000.
Detention deputies are always sus..
as are all Leo's
I wish all police departments had people on the force with as much integrity as this man!

Jail is one big money system and we have to pay big fees when sending commissary. Its pitiful. This system is also big time flawed. Corrupted.
@@Reiderholtz ok, that’s the money I am talking about if deputy is getting paid by prisoners that’s too much money somewhere - don’t you think so?

Problem is most departments don't pay shit so they get lower quality and less competent staff . So this is what happens ..

Indeed there are plenty of criminals that wear badges

Timishia!
It’s already bad enough we had Wayne Coca-Cola lying that he was a cop on the street and then now this punk😂
Coverup failed
There was no coverup attempt
Legalize marijuana. put it on commissary they'd make a fortune.
Most sensible police officer I hv seen in the whole of America. He should be promoted instantly
😂
😂😂😂😂
Can't promote him just based on doing the correct thing
C'mon, the most sensible officer in Florida maybe. My uncle in Minnesota is a way more sensible cop.
@@malachimccoy4271exactly , it needs to be based on being a female or minority. This is America , no promotion based on skill or knowledge.

Pot brownies are extremely dangerous? Not a pot guy myself, but I think The Sheriff was engaging in a bit of hyperbole here, no?
