Ah, I love a good extension! Something to play during TTRPG boss fights!

First Barbariccia, now Scarmiglione. Are you able to find something with Cagnazzo's portrayal that can be nitpicked?
@@Hawkenwhacker I take it you aren't familiar with Hyadain's version of the Four Fiends' boss theme.
though if you want complaints, I could always go on a rant about Scarmiglione ALSO having a sword and Cagnazzo being bipedal....
@@christopherbravo1813 I feel that the complaints against the archfiends of XIV are unwarranted. I can but assume that the argument against them is based on an unwillingness to look beyond a subjective preference for nostalgia with no room for additions or changes.
If we are making a case for the story behind the archfiends, we need to look beyond Hyadain and instead talk about Takashi Tokita, due to his direct involvement in IV's game design. The fact that he created the original draft for the lyrics in Forged in Crimson clearly shows his support for the direction of the archfiends that the XIV creators took in their design and inclusion.

@@Hawkenwhacker to put it simply, my original comment was a joke and a reference to Hyadain's cover of the Four Fiends' theme rolled into one, while my response to your reply was a pair of jokes playing off what I perceived as you not recognizing that I was in fact making a joke.
don't get me wrong, I do not like how the Four Fiends have been handled thus far, but that doesn't mean every word I type about them is somehow a veiled criticism of Square Enix's design choices.
