- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

What a beautiful song originally delivered by the one and only LR Easwari, a VKumar beauty, and well rendered by Sindhuri and others. Great job team. This is one of those multiple songs delivered by LR Easwari, like Ammamma Keladi Thozhi from Karuppu Panam, if done by anyone else, it wouldn't have had the same effect. That was Easwari's special effect in every one of her songs. What a voice?
Sindhuri, kudos to you for taking us 49 years back. You have done a wonderful job by bringing LR Easwari's lovely voice to fans like me.

Even SPB told about this in a programme.The greatness of the composer lies in bringing the variation & developing the song in his own way. V.Kumar is an underrated MD.He was praised by MSV for the song Kannoru pakkam from the movie Niraikudam.
