OMG I'm excited. I've come from old school gear (which was destroyed in a kitchen water disaster) to modern new gear, and the Helix LT is what I'm overwhelmed by because it's sooooo confusing and modern and complex compared to what I had. So excited to see what you're going to cover, and looking forward to continued episodes too.
I love how people want to hate the Helix because its older. Well so is a Strat. Sometimes you create something so awesome and versatile that getting "better" is just pushing around the leaves. Ive always loved the Line6 guys. First amp was a Spider. I had that Behringer Tube Modler combo amp.. Thing was bad ass. Everyone is chasing these Line6 Guys IMHO. Once you got the tone you got the tone. It's why vintage amps can cost to the sky.
@@ZachBrobstMusicI have a quick question for you. Is there any difference between a Helix floor from say 2015 VS a new one or would a good used one basically be the same as buying new?
Hey @@TheReBorn ! As long as you're looking at the Flagship model and not the LT, then yes. Even if it's 9 years old the hardware is the exact same (Line 6 has done a lot of firmware updates though). The LT did have issues with previous released versions and the wah pedal but thats been resolved or if you have any issues Line 6 will fix it for free.
Bro, I got a huge favor. Is there anyway that you could take one of your patches and sit there with one of your guitars a 90 a single coil, a hum bucker with the same patch and dial it in they get the most out of the guitar. My biggest challenge is I have a Gretsch and mostly play a Veritas in both coils are very different on the same patch, and I’m struggling to dial them in to get the most out of the tone
@@ZachBrobstMusic I couldn’t let it pass!!!! He has some awesome presets too! Some are blah, but the ones he bought are so nice. Got a great Brown sound and a great Gilmour sound.
I have the m13 and I love it!!!! It was a straight plug n play so much you could do with it! But the price of the helix was a no brainer! I just have to sell the m13 - or not
That’s awesome! I found my stomp for $300 and my LT for $600 so I know it feels great to find a good deal! Be sure to download my free helix patch on the site!
Just rolled the dice on the big boy in 2024. I don't care if it gets phases out in the next couple years, it's incredible
This is perfect! Now I just need a Helix...
I'm considering getting a guitar first
I just bought a helix floor. Videos like this will be extremely helpful! I’ve always struggled to dial in digital products like this.
Here to help man! Let me know what questions you run into
How do you run the helix floor? Did you buy a PA or a speaker? Or just use it through your monitors?
@@nickhutchinson9068 I ran it through my powered monitors or headphones!
Great vid dude! Keep up the hard work

How about doing a video on what to use the helix with frfr or amps or what to run it thru for live use...thx
Thanks for this video, now i'm convinced that I need this gear soon.. 😁🎸🎶
Great video Zach! This is absolutely one of my favorite new channels here. Looking forward to seeing you grow in this!
Thank you so much!

One of my favorite bands!

@@ZachBrobstMusic I don’t have social media man I’m sorry
Should I wait to get a helix?
I don’t see why you would need to!
@@ZachBrobstMusic Right, haha!

All these guides none talking about getting it set up on the computer and downloading presets.
That's a great follow up idea!
