The band definitely knew they had to do something special for all of us that got stuck in the blizzard after the Denver shows. We almost made it out and shockingly they shut the highway down right in front of our car we missed getting out by mere minutes...we ended up getting the last room at a Super 8. Barely slept just kept watching the semi's in the parking lot once they started leaving we knew the highway was back open and I took over driving and got us there minutes before the show and it was worth it. Such a beautiful warm day and very intimate since a lot of people didn't make it. Don't remember a lot of the shows I went to and I went to many all over the country, but this one I do remember. Thank you for this video, much love.
I was there! 19 years old. My first time seeing live music. Needless to say I was BLOWN AWAY. Everything changed that day. I cried when I came across this video. Thank you so much for filming and posting this.
I was at this show. My 22nd show. I forgot how good this first set was. Always just thought about the HCS breakout. Althea is insane. I just remember dancing my ass off that day.
"Compton Terrace" was an outdoor amphitheater located in the Phoenix area next to the Firebird Raceway. It was built in 1985 with the venue's capacity at 20,000. It was closed and demolished in 2010. It was owned by Jess Nicks, the father of musician and singer Stevie Nicks.

After a hiatus, this was My first show in five years. They’re been flooding all over and they’d not done here comes sunshine in a mighty long while. It ‘Twas a show to remember and I imagine We always will...
Hey Lolo, thank you thank you thank you. i have been looking for this run of shows forever. i was there both days and we heard them do soundcheck with "Here Comes Sunshine " as we waited in line the first day. They opened with it this day; also, the "Me and my Uncle" was disrupted (startled Bobby forgot words) when an ultralight (Texas DRAGONFLY) buzzed the stage. Great road trip and weird scene with wet ground from rains and Heavy cop presence
i was at this show after driving 36 hours in a blizzard from Colorado , and walked into the show with a 1/2 lb of buds and shared that is why there was so much smoke at the front rows . I was giving away free weed .
Set 1 aint too Shabby either! 1 of the best Latter Day Sunshines Ever i actually was just counting time (in months leading up to Jerrys D Day from this point Forward and to me its ptetty much a 45 degree angle sliding slope in his playing quality from here on Down!!! to Summer 95 Ehhhh!!!! Oh WELL what can Ya Do when your world is trashed by a ... Non Rastafarian Junkie Crew!!!
I remember this being a great show that was a real suprise because of the abysmal year that 92' was for the boys. Great energy and solid show. Love the outdoor winter show!
Thanks for posting! Rented a luxury bus w all of our friends from ASU. Also Tom Gagan taped the show and we listened again when we got home!...incredible day, great memories
This was my last show. I got miracled into the 2 Denver shows and met some guy after the 2nd headed here who offered me a ride, I think his name was Rob. "What the hell, why not". I've got no cash, the clothes I am wearing and that's it, so off I go. Drove through the blizzard right behind 2 plow trucks, turns out we were the last car through before they closed the highway. Missed the exit driving to the show the next day (don't remember where we slept, but I remember a hot tub.) and as we're driving past the show we hear the opening of LTGTR and he pulls over right there onto the shoulder and we run to the fence to hop it, me forgetting my jacket in the car...big mistake. We get over the fence and are immediately nabbed by security and escorted toward the gate. I make a break for it halfway across right as Hell in a Bucket breaks open. Thanks to everyone who opened a hole for me in the crowd and closed it behind me!!! The show ends and I have no clue where the guy who drove me is. Goodbye jacket and boy did it get cold when the sun went down. Crashed with some kind folks in a hotel and headed for the show in the morning. First thing some guy hands me a little orange sticker with "Here Comes Sunshine" printed on it. I scrounge up some cash from many wonderful people and manage to buy a ticket for $11. Yep, 11 bucks, couldn't believe it. The set list speaks for itself culminating in Brokedown. Who could ask for more. Contemplated catching a ride to CA for the final shows, but decided to find a way back to Boulder and found a wonderful couple headed back, so away I went and that was that. I think the deciding factor for stopping going to the shows was the 14 or 15 year old girl in the parking lot who asked me "Excuse me sir, do you know where I can find any drugs?" Sir?!??!?......Drugs???? It was getting to be too much and I never went back again. Sure I missed some golden moments but I still think it was the right decision to this day. Thanks to everyone who helped on this final adventure; the rides, the warmth, the food and cash, I love you all.
What an asshole. Jumping fences. ............ I saw a guy jump a fence in Vegas once. I knocked him out as he was running by me on the inside side of the fence. He never saw me coming. Lol ... until I woke him up and helped him stand up so that I could knock him right out again. He layed there on the ground and started snoring. lmao so I let him sleep, and so did everyone else that was around. Fun times. I Wish that I saw you at this show, I could have spooned you while you were napping.
Thanks Lolo ! Great set, and in particular the Maggie's Farm ... Jerry is more than our uncle, he's almost our Dad ... ^^ ;) Keep it comin', all very good, I'm floored ... Thx, Y

These shows kicked sooooo much ass!!!
Here come sunshine was fantastic, that Sampson & Delilah was painfully bad...
Bobby's tone on HCSS is like rusty nails on a chalk board.
Disagree. Interesting mix for the HCSS and Bobby is loud as F! A rarity in most shows.
