The depth of your understanding of Korg's Guitar Mode is very impressive. Thank you for taking the time to show us the in depth capabilities of the software. Few would take the time to do so. It's very much appreciated.
Your videos are the most in depth and technical of anything on UA-cam or anywhere else for that matter. I do not know how you've been able to "Translate" the user manual to the degree you have but your video on the PA4x Guitar Mode has been so beneficial to me and I'd just like to thank you so very much.
What can be more informative than this? Great respect for you sir!! Thank you so much for sparing your time to prepare such detailed videos.. By the way, when are the other videos related to sequencer mode coming? I am waiting anxiously for them. Only part 1 has been uploaded so far..
Thank you. Sequencer videos are not started yet. I will start those after the sound editing and style creation videos. There are some more videos on sound editing and styles I am working on now
Wonderful tuto thanks. One thing is sure the Guitar mode of the KORG is so advace compared to the YAMAHA. In the KORG, when we create a guitar it’s sounding so natural. I have both of these keyboards and for styles creation you can’t go wrong with a KORG.
@@ArrangerTutorials Well I think that if we want to get something sound really well with Yamaha guitars strumming, we have no choice than going to the step edit and edit each single note with each spacing between notes and then adding the Rx noises into a different track, etc… I have the Genos and PA-5x and I have created the same style on both keyboards. I was able to make both instruments sound identical but on the new PA-5X it took me only 3 mins to create a realistic guitar sound where the same track on the Genos it took me more than 45 min. It’s for a 6/8 beat. I have been a Yamaha user since 1984, but I think they didn’t do anything to improve their technology. I mean since Tyros 2, the guitar mode is the same. I have been asking them for a while. If I’m not wrong Roland started the guitar mode (same as in the KORG) with the E80 and followed to the G70. Then KORG did something similar with advance features. So why YAMAHA still continue keeping their unstable mega voices ? When I say unusable I mean with going to step edit….
@@djeev1 Korg’s guitar mode is easy. But I feel the Yamaha mega voices sound better than korg’s guitars. I haven’t used PA5x yet. Comparing my PA4x with SX900. I have been using korg PA for more than 15 years and Yamaha SX since 2020. Even though the process is not easy, i like the output of the guitar strumming in yamaha more than that in korg. Yamaha hides a lot of features from users. It requires different softwares for achieving many features while everything is onboard with Korg. Even the guitar mode is not documented in the Yamaha user manual. Making things not easy for users.
@@ArrangerTutorials I 100% agree with you. Even me it took like months to correctly understand the process of the guitar mode. First what I have done was crack a style from my Tyros 3, then from the SX and Genos. Different styles of course. Then I have checked how they made these guitars and then started to understand how they did it. Only thing is Rx noises are in the same part as guitar track and when I made it, I think I had to add the Rx in a separate channel with “bypass” activaed. For the expansions creating you have no other choice than the YEM. But they don’t allow us to create S articulation voices. I don’t know if it’s possible now. I didn’t use it for 1 year now. This is possible with the PA-5X (what the call DNC). Personally I think that KORG PA 5x is another world compared even to the GENOS. It’s like having a DAW inside the keyboard. Some parts of the OS reminds you the PA 4x but the sound Engin is different and seems to be redesigned from scratch. I also like the guitar amps + compressor’s etc… But I have to admit that some sounds are better on the Genos (like the Alto sax). Even if KORG has a very similar one too. Very interesting this conversation with you. I’m from France and my name is Jeev. If you like please share your whatsup by mail. Will be a pleasure to have a chat. SX is from 2020 and PA-4x is from 2017 if I’m not wrong. So there is a gap. But I think the PA-5x (mid 2022) is also a beast. Again I’m a big YAMAHA user but I think this time KORG made a big jump too.
Try using the rx noises at the last octaves and the dedicated keys which corresponds to the 6 guitar strings to create customized patterns. Use the all mute button also
Both are good. I have SX 900 as well. Korg needs customization on sounds and styles. Yamaha has ready to use sounds and styles. Compare the specs of both. Go for the one with the maximum features in your requirement
Very nice explanation, I am requesting you to tell me how to remove a corrupt backup file. My OS in Korgpa 600 is 2014 version, earlier I could update it to 2018 but somehow it got disturbed and when I try to upgrade copied in USB pendrive, after few seconds I get a display that unable to proceed due to a corrupt backup file, but otherwise all the keys are working all the styles and instruments are working, If you have any idea as to how to remove the corrupt file, it will be very helpful, thanks

I wold like to have video for disco style how guitar to record
hi I would like to know how many guitars can be used with guitar mode, if you can also use electric guitars for example
You can have multiple guitar tracks in a style. Check the factory styles. They have multiple tracks with guitar mode
Hi, I meant in guitar mode there is only the acoustic guitar or you can use guitar mode even with an electric guitar
@@stefanodifino9808 you can even use it with a piano sound

Even though Korg has advanced guitar mode, the yamaha guitars give more realistic feel. But it needs more effort
