Well, adopting 2 kittens (large, 4 & 5 month old ones who were only a half inch shorter than 'not kittens' anymore) for the missus because she wanted one to "cuddle with during the early morning hours" when she can't sleep & it seemed like a good idea at the time (3 months ago).... We've had many cats & dogs over the past 41 years but this time i went with "keeping the wife happy" instead of "self preservation, calm & less vacuuming" and i neglected to remember that at my age & physical limitations that i can no longer keep up with "up all night, bouncing off everything very loudly while having cat toys dumped on my head as a reminder that i should also be up playing"... How quickly we forget.... And these new models apparently have greatly improved "varied cloth piercing" claw update modifications that far surpass any fishing treble hook incidents you might have heard about... But they are quite cuddly & hardly shed at all,... ...when they want to...
