      Yep, I said this about @ITZsharky1 on a recent video and I stand by it every game I see. They all play to their best and recognise that in each other, meaning that, win or lose, they respect the competition and that shines through in their post match conduct with each other.

    That round one!
    Seeing Blu Scuti in his "Game Crashed" shirt it hit me just how sad it is that Jonas couldn't witness all these crazy developments in Classic Tetris. But then again, some say he is in charge of all the Tetris RNG now, so there's that.

  • @VizardUltimo
    @VizardUltimo 9 місяців тому +6

    Spectacular first game!! I was On the edge of my seat during that final run on the 1st round. Even though Scuti might’ve been left behind during the final game he did survive longer that I could’ve imagined. How he manages to recover SO MANY TIMES IS INSANE.
    I have to give credit where credit is due. Myles went all out during the first round and even as far as taking the lead in the end, Scuti’s miss drops During the last game gave him the advantage to win the set.
    I could almost feel the mental exhaustion from both of them. I’m enjoying these type of matches a lot!
    Congratulations to Myles! He always kept a cool head even when feeling the pressure on the 2-1. Really deserved.
    I don’t live in the States, otherwise I would be purchasing a couple of those “Game Crashed” Jerseys without a doubt.
    Scuti I’m a fan yours man Let’s GOOOOOO

      That's certainly an age thing, same with the way he responds during the interview. The way you gotta look at it is where he might be in 7-8 years, when he is the age Myles is now. The potential is just insane, especially if he grows out of some habits.

    • @loneranger143

    • @ITZsharky1
      @ITZsharky1 9 місяців тому +3

      Distracted maybe, but looking at the opponents screen gives you valuable information. So he’s not just looking to watch his opponents play. In certain situations you adjust how you stack based on your opponents situation

    Ya know I’m glad that Tetris has made a resurgence cause I had a blast playing it when it came out for nes, but one thing I’ve noticed with a few players though, especially with scuti in this match, why do you look away from the screen in the middle of playing? I can understand to a point in casual play but this is a tournament so pay attention to what you’re doing. With records in this game being smashed almost weekly, scuti being prominent amongst the record breakers. Give the game the respect it deserves.

    • @ITZsharky1
      @ITZsharky1 9 місяців тому

      In competitive players look at the opposing board for various bits of information, opponents boardstate, potential bar differences, pace confirmation etc. and generally it results in play being adjusted based on the information received

    Why they start at lvl 18 is so slow for them. Just et them play lvl 19 and longer with the final speed...

    • @ITZsharky1
      @ITZsharky1 9 місяців тому

      Because 18 still matters. 18 is a cool down period and focuses more on the technical aspects of maximizing efficiency. 19 has less flexibility and 29 even more so. Majority of players are fine with 18 starts being the standard

    • @ITZsharky1
      @ITZsharky1 9 місяців тому +1

      That’s incorrect assessment. There is a lot of info players can get from looking at their opponents. Competitive isn’t stagnant but more so dynamic where based on their opponents conditions certain decisions get changed or made

    Imagine winning a tournament but the guy who lost the final gets all the attention. I know why, it's just that human nature is mysterious. If someone gets famous everyone else want to ride the same wave, even when other people have their own waves worthy of recognition. It would have made more sense to interview both of them. And if that was done, then include it in this cut.
