This is an example walkthrough from a learner perspective. If you want to join these type of raids, join the Discord at the top of the video description.
The Discord is free to use, and encourages players to participate from 0-10Kc. There are some minimum Gear & Stat requirements, which are universally accepted for many communities & clans.
This video focuses on tips & tricks as well as things to look out for on your first raids to have a smoother simpler experience. ToB is NOT as complex as you may think it is, it's just quite punishing.
This format contains 1 Mentor, 1 Helper, and 1/2/3 Learners.
Each Mentor will guide you through the Raid and shotcall key actions.
The Discord also contains a ton of resources for training simulators, plugins, guides, etc. If you want something specific, just ask!
Note that this is NOT a carry Discord. It's a free service aimed at training players to become competent at various roles within 10 KC, then push them to communities & clans to continue raiding. ToB remains highly inaccessible and difficult to get a foot in the door. This service aims to fix that issue.
Please take the time to read #read-me in the Discord, taking the time to familarise yourself with the resources and put in a little practice goes a long way to having a smooth entry experience.

Instructions unclear, brought lunars and wiped at maiden
I’ve been in the learner TOB discord for quite some time and I finally started the raid today and got through 8 runs and was able to do multiple deathless already. Thanks for all the tips and advice. It’s punishing for sure, but pretty easy to avoid mistakes once you get a little experience. Very nice people in the discord always.
This guide is really good! You should do a guide for the inferno where you go through an unedited run!

On verzik p2 you can yellow click through her just as with xarpus, so just like with xarpus you can click her shadow (mark the middle tile under her and use that)

Kinda sad to say that I’ve been playing for 20 years overall and I still get anxiety when it comes to raiding and spending an hour for a chance at loot. I don’t have much time as it is for gaming, but this is super helpful. I just got the level requirements to join the learner raids all I need now is a stack of pink salve, mage arena 2 cape, and a BGS
pretty normal to have nerves and worrys but rest assured theres no better place than the teaching discord to get started, the mentors there are the absolute best in the game, so have fun!
Do tornados that are targeting other players in the room also damage you if you happened to land on the same tile as it while it was following someone else?
No only the one that is chasing you can damage you
Do you have your tob tiles anywhere?
What plugin is that that shows your stat buffs like that? When you brew it shows all your debuffs/buffs in a little box bottom left
Love the video, great work but the mods in your discord have some ridiculous beaurocracy going on in the Verify-me channel, in the read-me it says to show you have the min gear, min supplies, prayers unlocked so I did that, but they kept being vague about "following instructions" and after about 4x me guessing what I needed to do & resubmitting more images all I got was "resubmit + follow instructions" I figured out they wanted me to imitate the WDR discord image EXACTLY or I wouldn't be allowed access. What a frustrating and ridiculous experience, something needs to be revised here, since I'd had shown more than min reqs + resubmitted despite vague instructions multiple times. Better mods or literal instructions to imitate the image exactly in the read-me
sorry to hear, some days you'll get a pretty bland response as there's an expectation to just follow instructions initially, with thousands of people coming through its easier to just refer them to that than keep typing over and over - i've ammended to make it ultra clear for newcomers that the setup needs to be identical no exceptions so hopefully it will help in the future!
Hi Aaty, is it possible you can make a guide for HMT?
Maybe in the future, less people are interested/will benefit - I want to focus on other raids and learner stuffs for the most part.

Is the discord mobile friendly? I have about 20kc already however I’ve only ever done the Range role
it's only really open for 0-10kc right now, may open up in the future, there's resources for post-10kc though. would however be mobile friendly
Update: the discord has moved from 10kc to 25kc so you can join for about another 5 kc if you would like to learn another role.
What's better for tob? Rune crossbow with a fury or dragon with a glory?
And is there any point in bringing super combats if I only use rune crossbow? Or should I bring them even tho I don't use melee

Fury will give you more useful bonuses throughout the run. It's got better Melee stats, defensive stats, and prayer bonus. Furthermore, I believe it gives 2 more range acc than a glory compared to the additional 4 of the DCB over the RCB. That 2 range bonus won't offset the other stuff from Fury since you melee most of the raid
