This is the most informative LT-1 channel. Learning something new every day from you & I have to say thank you. I’m finally installing the corvette fuel injector covers & making adjustments. Outstanding work 💯
That's great you lucked out on the rubbing issue, some people on the C4 forum had the issue of rubbing and had to grind some of the fins off. I tried to reply on your comment but for some reason it does nothing when I click on the "reply". The installer ran both wire under the fuel rail covers inside the wire harness leading up to the PCM for both green and white looks pretty clean. I kept the orig fuel rail covers and have the spark wires on top going to the plugs.
Very nice, I also just had a Torqhead system installed on my 94Vette a couple of months ago. I was done with the Optispark and I am going to keep the vette till the wheels fall off, so it was a good investment. I had to grind the cooling fins down a bit as they were rubbing my hood when closed and add some type of sleeve between the PCM and brake booster as it was also rubbing. The Torqhead PCM is a very tight fit and I tried to adjust the bracket to the best as I could.
Definitely. Tight fit. Richard, the owner of this car, got lucky and the PCM fit well and did not touch the brake booster reservoir and the hood does not hit. How did you route your water pump green wire and the tach white wire?
I have a ‘96 LT4, and the tranny makes that same clunky sound in neutral when the clutch pedal isn’t pressed. Someone said it’s the input shaft bearing. Thoughts?
For the Corvette, I have not installed the hub with the engine in the car. Only with the engine on an engine stand. So I think that would be the hard part, getting the crank hub off and the new TH hub on. The rest of the intstall is easy to medium hard. Making plug wires and changing spark plugs is the hardest part. Plugging in the harness is easy. This system is so much better for being able to tune.
I installed this same kit on my 96 vette. Does anyone know how crucial fine tuning is on the new computer? Also curious if this computer has torque management that needs to be turned off or down?

Thanks. Are you doing a TH too?

Kuddos to your installer and the neat look. I don't like seeing extra wires.
Great product .when funds permit will install same setup on my 94 Firebird. Hella cheaper and less labor intensive than an LS swap.

Hell yeah u are a wizard! If I ever win the lottery 😜...that is a work of art beautiful
Thanks very much
Nice, sounds great 👍
Thanks!
I wonder if this is like a 0411 PCM?
Hopefully They will develop something like this for the C4 ZR-1 ECMs..
Carl I see the torque heads are avaliable for c4 again
really!!! I need to stock up.
@@EllweinEngines hey on there website at least it is an option again doesn't say there not currently available 😀
Loud but it sounds good!
What year is this C4 and did u have to modify the diagnostic port under the dash for this install
it is a 1994 and that port was already OBD2 (ready) set up from the factory.
Your modifications got how much mre power from your LT1 ?
These LS1 PCM mods do not give more power over a well tuned LT1 PCM. They give access to good data logging software and tuning software.
Will I have this problem on a 1995 corvette?
If you buy from TorqHead they send exactly what is required. You won't have this problem.
@@EllweinEngines ok gotta ya! Torkheads are back ordered on micro chips right now

That has the ZF 6 speed right? I believe those had a dual mass flywheel. Which could be starting to fail if you are experiencing NVH concerns.
ZF yes. But this one has a single mass flywheel and it is not damping the gear rattle.
@@EllweinEngines so the gear rattle is normal?
@@DanOnFire The rattle is only normal if you have a single mass flywheel.
Thanks, @@brandonherrera2891

Replied to the question in that other video. Thanks for watching and for the compliments.
