Since he is deeply revered as a master composer it wouldn't surprise me if his music then naturally accompanied such themes in various other media. Its pre eminence as the music that first dealt with a topic invariably related all things necromantic to it by the associations that followed.
Damn, the Dies Irae-part (from 2:07) gives me the chills down to my toes every single time. Romero is a genius, and his HoMM3 Necro theme is one of the best of his'.
I really liked the extra riff you gave it at the end, giving it a slight extended feel. Necropolis was always one of my favourite towns purely because of this theme, it speaks of this really destructive, angry force that becomes depressed and sorrowful by the end.
+DeFactoLeader Heroes 3 soundtrack is by far one of the best soundtracks i've seen in many games i've played. The battle music, different town themes, they all feel very connected to the game and make it much more fun to play. Some other games with soundtracks i loved are Diablo 2, Dishonored and Commandos 2. A good soundtrack is essential to a game..
i do get pleasure from listening to these genius and genuinely intimidating soundtracks.It’s awesome developers didn’t neglect their meaningfulness while working on this fabulous game

it sounds a little bit less evil than the original. which is not a bad thing. this version is amazing. i love it very much and respect the achievement.
This sounds good, at times great, but that just makes those brass samples at 1:52 stand out all the worse. I'm not exactly sure what you could do about it, but it sticks out as much more abrasive and synthetic than any other part. The rest is definitely time well spent on a classic.
Some strings could use more strength, but other than that this is gorgeous. I always got strong Danny Elfman vibes from that song (especially Burton movies)
