Ever since my son passed away in 2004 I have done blue lights on my tree and used all of his ornaments that were given to him every year. I went for the "Blue Christmas" theme. This year I've decided to go a different route and been inspired by you to buy a flocked tree and do the white christmas trees. Thank you Shannon for inspiring me to go a different way.

Make a “Christmas earring” tree. Like that last tree and use Christmas earrings you find at the drug stores, $ tree, etc. and hang them as the ornaments.
Super cute idea for grandkids to give to grandmas. A tree they made and a pair of earrings to start, then they can add a new pair of Christmas earrings as a gift every year.

We also have 5 greatgrand children. So .. needed less to say ... this tree is FULL of all kinds of ornaments. And I love it ! I'm truly blessed!

The gnome is soooo cute!! Not only a really cute gift with personality, but I am gonna adapt them to fit MY own colors (blue, silver and white). I love my colors...I use white doves with real feathers perched all over the tree making it look like snow and only blue, clear or a mix of blue and clear lights. NO TINSEL! Instead I made “dripping sparkles” by threading blue and clear crystal beads with a silver bell at the bottom and I hang them at the ends of the branches like real icicles. Every year I add to my blue/silver/white homemade ornaments... last year I found all these 2”-3” bisque dolls with real hair. I bought a craft pack of wings and attached them to the dolls and now they look like baby angels or cherub. It’s so serene and beautiful and romantic. It’s not “traditional” but it’s “me” ... oh yes, I use all white candy canes. I love my tree. 💜

This is so awesome. I was not going to decorate this year as I've moved and had to get rid of my decorations but now I can afford to get a few items and make them myself. Thanks so much for the great video. Have a Merry Christmas and God bless you.

I made the swag to put on my Dad's grave for Christmas. It was a simple thing to do and looks really nice and a lot cheaper than buying one at the flower shop.

I love these ideas! The stands can be used for anything that you want to stand up. I’m like you, I like to keep things like that for future ideas! These all turned out so pretty! I’m going to watch the video with your mom too! So nice!!!

I don't do a lot of Christmas decorations anymore, but may start again when I get my house back into some kind of order!!

On project #3 The tree in the bucket @6:59. You can use the left over pieces of styrofoam and cut them into square shapes, wrap them in scrap pieces wrapping paper, tissue paper, or news paper, with ribbon or twine tied around them to create small presents to either place in the top of the bucket at the base of the tree or in among the branches like ornaments. You can also add a small set of lights to this tree and hide the battery pack inside the bucket.😉👍

These are the cutest ways to use these trees that I've seen. Thanks for your tutorial. My theme this year is to actually put th he tree up! Haven't done that for several years but some of the grandkids are coming this year.

I made the tall tree at about 8 mins last night along side a few ornament wreaths (all from dollar tree 😉) with a few of my own tweaks. I really LOVE it! My neighbors have already stopped to ask where I got them and want to make some. SO cute, and easy!

#2: I have a tube that’s like a paper towel core, but a bit bigger and sturdier. I think I’ll make a pot for the tree to stand in.
It might be pretty to put the paint on a brush and sprinkle/splatter it on the greens. (I use an old toothbrush and run my thumb over the bristles)
All of these are SO PRETTY! 🥰
