It was Saturday, so I brought in a movie to watch..a Marx Brothers movie, not sure which one, but I think it was Horsefeathers. None of these kids had ever seen anything in black and white before. This was something so far off their radar that if they hadn't been confined, there's no way they would have watched it. Started the movie and with in minutes, these kids, pre-adolescent or teenager, Black, White, or Hispanic were laughing with glee. Somethings are beyond time and personal experience. Some things are universal.
Groucho tried to join a local country club, but was refused being Jewish. So he wrote them a letter: "My daughter is only half Jewish. If she joins, can she go into the swimming pool up to her waist?"
