Well if you believe in past lives then it is your past karma you have done during past lives that have brought you that life (environment, family, friends etc.) to yourself to resolve and go beyond them, if you don't, you are the result of (carrying) your heritage and ancestors' karma which is embodied in your DNA. However, no matter what the circumstances are, with your free will, you can make the best out of your current situation and build yourself towards your ultimate Self.

Dr.Nader. Maharishi had a healing effect only by looking at him, I feel that that part of that healingefffect is due to the fact that mostly his face was in rest. When you are smiling tha face is not in rest. Everybody that looks at you feel that you are doing yous best to be loved by us. My advice: stop smiling, stop doing your best to be loved by us. What if the collective of all people’s karma is to never transcend? Also, how can you explain the karma of all of the millions of people who fell victim to holocaust’s, massacres and racial cleansing? What could all of those people have possibly done to receive all of those terrible acts?
