Great video, i'm trying to learn the imac style with this videos, thanks for that, i hope see you there one day, regards from ensenada baja california mexico :)
Very nice flying! I have a 3DHS Slick 540 70" 30cc and a Pilot 330 88" 56cc would I be able to fly these in IMAC? Where is your field? Did you say it's in San Bernardino? I'm near Barstow we fly at Calico dry lake but the amount of pilots has taken a dive! Thanks for sharing need a new flying field where I can learn from others!
Either of those planes would be capable of flying IMAC. Yes, we are flying in San Bernardino. If you ever want to come down and fly, let us know. Would be fun to work on some IMAC with you.
We can't say that ALL do but it is very hard to fly smooth and precise with a rudder that has huge deflection and hi exponential settings. This is our experience at least.
Thanks for this video. I'll refer to it often as I practice these basic maneuvers. One question. You refer to #2 as a "half reverse Cuban 8". Isn't that just a "half Cuban 8"? Thanks.
Hey there George. So, the 73" QQ Yak on a 140 is perfectly fine for flying the lower classes of IMAC. You may be the only one out there with a glow plane but who cares as long as you are having fun. Just make sure you have your plane well tuned and always be ready to fly when it is your turn. Nothing worse than a contest being held up by someone who is not ready. Regardless of what class of plane they are flying!!
The red dashed lines indicate a negative portion of a maneuver. It means you are either flying inverted or pushing an outside segment of a loop. Hope this helps! Merry Christmas!!
just subscribed, you guys make awesome videos, congrats!!

@@FlightReviewz Thank you! I will keep that in mind and Thanks for the invite! Great video by the way! Joined your channel, great stuff!
Glad you enjoyed the video and are watching some of our other videos. It would be cool to get together and fly sometime for sure.
Do all Imac pilots flick the rate switch before a stall turn/hammerhead? Could it be done but increasing the throws and exponential?

And I guess I'd add another question. Isn't #6 a "reverse shark's tooth"? Thanks for any clarifications.
Great video! Question. I have a QQ 73” Yak 54 with YS 140. Are people still using glow engines in IMAC? Would I be the only one? Lol. Thanks!

@@FlightReviewz sounds great! Thanks for the insight and the reply!
Just picked up a used 73” AJ Laser with a light 12s system. Is this the year I finally try Imac?
We hope so, Tyler. If there is anything we can do to help you on your journey, let us know.
I flew a 78 inch for my first competition. It does fine. I have a bigger one now but the smaller one did fine. IMAC is fun even if you get dead last.
super wow
Thank you so much
whats the red dashes
???
