- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disbanded his war cabinet Monday after Benny Gantz, Netanyahu's leading moderate opponent, resigned from his post. This comes as Netanyahu faces political pressure from moderates and the far-right as the Israel-Hamas war continues. Jon Donnison with BBC News, a CBS News partner, has more.

This seems impulsive from Netanyahu. I really hope Israel votes him out.
The middle east has the right to defend itself against violent zionist colonialism. If Israel is to survive, Israel must change. The age of colonialism is over regardless of how desperately Israel fights to maintain it in Palestine. Although there is plenty of red paint throughout this conflict, the fact remains that the pre-eminent obstacle to peace is Israel's colonisation of Palestine. Israel can not win against the changes of the times we are now in. There is no going back to a time when colonialism was seen as acceptable or even as being positive.
