My sister and I hiked this trail today(01/02/2024) because of this video. It was peaceful and glorious! We took our time and enjoyed all the views so it took us closer to 4 hrs to hike it. We found it exactly as you said. Thank you!
Thank you for bringing me along on this hike that’s full of glorious colors and beautiful rock formations with cascading water falls and the best part for me is the sound. That sound of nature. It’s so rare to hear and so much appreciated. You are so good with your camera skills and I really appreciate you sharing your travels with us. 🥾⛰️🙏🏻♥️🎉
This is one of my wife’s and my favorite trail. We did this hike on our 25th anniversary while camping at Leisure Acres touring the vineyards. Was a lot more water rolling out that crevice in that rock 2 years ago.
Thanks for taking us along on your beautiful hike. We're going to have to check out this trail. Maybe we'll try to do it when the rhododendron are in bloom. I bet that would be breathtaking!
I know what you mean about the aroma in the air when hiking in the mountains . . . I've concluded that it's the bark/resin/sap in some of the evergreens.
Beautiful hike and area, if you like the mountain laurel, you would love and area not too far from there, called fires creek wildness, a nice moderate hiking, with breath taking views and similar falls, and meandering creeks!!
Oh how I wish I could hike that trail! It's my kind of place. Unfortunately I fell and broke my hip, and have to walk with a cane. One mile is my limit right now. I'm working at trying to go farther. Maybe someday!
I was just in Helen last weekend and thinking about hiking this falls. It looks like a moderate level, maybe too much for a group. Can you hike and show us Duke Creek Falls? It's a shorter hike with really nice falls. I think it may be an easier hike for a family. Thanks Jerry😊
Love your video. But really wish you had picked up that single use plastic water bottle out of the creek. I hate that people use them, and litter them everywhere they go. What kind of people just toss them in nature like this??
Thanks! My pack is usually full of trash when I finish a hike. I couldn’t believe I missed the bottle till I saw it in the video. I’ll do better next time. Throwing trash on the trail and graffiti….I just don’t get it.

Glad you made the trek. One of North Georgia’s gems.

I bet it was great site with more water running.
Thanks for sharing Jerry, I added Raven Cliff Falls to our list of sites in Georgia.
Enjoy. It’s a fun hike.
What a beautiful scenery, outstanding upload my friend! So nicely putting together 👏
Thanks a bunch.

I went for a group hike with the naturalist at Laura Walker State Park this morning 🥾 Participating in the “Take Flight” program
Oh, I bet that was a great experience.

It’s the best and it’s everywhere.

Get well soon! Even if there’s a short hike, it’s getting to soak up a little nature.

I hiked Dukes Creek. Great waterfall. Easy walk down and not too bad heading back up. I’ll have the video up soon.

Did you do Dukes Creek Falls?
I did. Great waterfalls. Will be sharing soon.
