Making the Mail Bag of leather and Canvas (part 1)

- This mail bag template was in our October Mystery Box. It is made of Canvas and Leather and is not a difficult project at all but it is awesome to carry and can be used for anything from a ladies purse to a tool bag!
This first video is kind of short and for this I apologize. My computer was apparently using battery faster than it was charging!

I missed out on this Mystery Box, I was working on a canvas and leather bag design of my own but I might just get the template and save the time, but I do like the design process.
You know i still havent made my bag yet. Hopefully ill have time soon
This is awesome, I have been thinking about making some leather & canvas bags for awhile. Curious as to the length of time it takes without a leather sewing machine.
Can I order a pony express logo? One of my great grands was a rider for the pony express! We have his saddle, bridle, and chaps and my aunt world go nuts if I made her this!
I’m so bummed I didn’t get this mystery box, question where did you find the vintage logos you ironed on the bags

What kind of canvas are you using. I haven't used anything but leather so I have no clue how to go about getting canvas.
Do you offer written pattern instructions for this bag? Also, what are the finished dimensions of the bag?
The bag is approximately 12" tall and 13" wide. There are no written instructions, I am not quite as eloquent in writing as I am on camera.
Man I just found out about your mystery box, I would have liked to have gotten that one. I just ordered some templates and two books from your website. I just got started in leather . Aaron I smoke a pipe as well. Have you ever made a pipe & tobacco pouch? I have a vinyl tobacco pouch I hate he way it looks.but it has some kind of rubber material. I can’t even get two people to agree on what kind of material it is. I was think of modifying your clutch wallet but not sure if it will work any ideas would be greatly appreciated I know you are busy also I think it would make a great video.
I have always wanted to sit and make one. I had one before and the material in it was like latex. I ordered some of those latex exercise bands for when I do finally make one.
When is part 2 being published?
Had a little problem with the 2nd video, so we have to redo it... Maybe tomorrow
