Here I am in Boulder, looking on UA-cam for a song I heard on the radio that wouldn't go away in my head for days, and found this video. I always loved the song Time for me to Fly and really enjoyed the little story about how it came about. Thanks~
Ahhh! A mystery is finally solved for me! I watched the band on Live at the Heartland and wondered why KC wrapped his hand around the guitar like that during 'Time For Me To Fly'. I learn new stuff every day. And great episode as usual!
Kevin, Thank you for sharing this channel and the songs and stories of REO Speedwagon. Thank you for your appreciation to all public service. I am a First Responder and I was on the front lines of this out break in New Jersey on a Federal Response Strike Team from California. I'm now on a two week coratine. I've been a REO Speedwagon fan since Roll with the changes came out. Kevin thank you again for this channel and keeping the encouragement going. Blessing, Andrew
I remember the first time I heard a song from the band, it was Keep The Fire Burning. And now many years later each Camp Cronin make me feel the same way I did in 1983.
!!!!!!! WOW MR. CRONIN !!!!!!! I really enjoy these song and story videos that you have shared with us recently. I would love to know what YOUR favorite REO Speedwagon song or songs that you were very excited about being on an album but it didn’t get released as a single or if it was a single, it wasn’t played enough on the radio stations????? Thanks for taking some time out of your schedule to connect with your fans.
Thank you Kevin. This makes up for the rescheduled concerts from last night in Grand Prairie and the rescheduled upcoming show on Saturday night in Bossier City. I will definitely be at both shows in November, but until then, it feels like we are each getting personal concerts from you. Please keep them up. Helps get us all through the hard times. 👍👍💖💖🎵🎼🎸🎶💖💖
The “Tuna fish” album started IT ALL for me and still does it for me!!!’ Saved me from teen suicide. Perfection!!!!! And for the record this is my favorite Camp Cronin so far!!! Love that you’re doing this.
Kevin, you sound as amazing in 2020 as you did when this song was first released in 1978. You are a pure, raw and unadulterated talent ! Thanks for sharing. I live in Ontario, Canada and have been a fan for years. I am a paramedic and listening to REO Speedwagon is very therapeutic during this pandemic. If you ever get the chance to do a concert in Toronto or Detroit once this pandemic is finally over, I will be one of the first to buy a ticket. I’m only an hour away from Detroit and 3 hours from Toronto. I would love to meet you one day !! Much respect to you and stay safe !!
Many thanks for this KC, great to see this as it unfolds. This was my favourite episode so far..... as 'Tuna Fish' is my all time favourite album. Will look forward to Saturdays 'show'.
Kevin i have been a huge fan since the champaine days i have seen you at least a dozen times and it always better than the time before !!!! Keep up the awesome work and im ready to see you guys again so plan a trip back to Deadwood Sd
Wow, shivers.. My favorite is A Decade of Rock and Roll. I think the 2nd time I bought the album 157 was cut short and also on all the cassettes and CDs I bought after that :/
I saw Ozarks when they were on it and it was very funny. I hope people don't think that Kevin would okay money laundering. If you don't watch the show you won't understand what I'm talking about. It was pretty hysterical when the guy calls him up and says, Hey Kevin you want to launder 100k, and he's like oh yeah sure. I was cracking up.
Thanks so much for playing these songs! Now I have a question Mr. Cronin, can I play Time for me to fly like that with a regular tuned guitar? I want to try it. I can't wait to play these two songs in my guitar!!
Greetings kind sir would you like to be a guest on my weekly talk show that aires on Facebook and UA-cam at the same time. Questions can be of your choosing please sir thank you for your consideration
