- This was the finals match of a 10-player GLC tournament at the Retrogames Clubhouse Pokemon GLC League night where I played against Landon in the 4th round after we both went undefeated after 3 rounds.
This is the first video of a brand new channel. I'm hoping we'll be able to put more if Landon is able to record more gameplay for me at the store when I can't make it. Please subscribe if you want to catch more videos like this as they will most likely be released every few weeks or so.

Really awesome video! I liked the narration style, thorough and easy to follow. Also, the noises for the attacks were really fun :] Keep up the great work!
Thank you for creating some great GLC content! The overlays are really nice and these videos are Top Tier! Keep up the great work!
Very well done. Good explanation of the decks for non-glc players. Best part you said in the intro, im going to attempt to get your fighting badge. You didn't spoil the outcome, which made me want to watch the full thing!
Had a good time watching and following the video. Some of the animations threw me off at first but I ended up coming around to them. Thanks for sharing and excited to see more for Oregon!
Glad to see a new GLC channel! Looking forward for future content!
This is so well done
Excellent quality and cool deck using Excadrill!!!
love to see more people uploading GLC matches, keep it up !
Great game! Love the editing, the hard work paid off!
Great video and commentary man!
Quality stuff!
subscribed, please keep games coming..............im well jealous hahaha
Great content, love to see GLC community expanding. Honest question: is it legal to run explorer's guidance + hapu? Isn't it like using lysandre + boss's orders (which is not legal)?
Yes it is! The ruling for Lysandre and Professor Juniper/Sycamore are specific to just those cards, and are rules carried over from expanded to keep you from running 8 copies of Boss or Research, but there is no such rule for Hapu, so you could actually run 4 Hapu and 4 Guidance in an Expanded format deck, which means you can run 1 of each in GLC.
There are many other cards in the game that are functionally nearly identical but do not violate the singleton clause.
That includes cards like Gloria and Brigette, Double Colorless Energy and Twin Energy, Muscle Band and Dark Claw, etc. And in fact Explorer's Guidance and Hapu are not actually identical, as the Ancient tag on Guidance means it's possible it will interact differently than Hapu with other cards, such as Great Tusk.
@@GLCTV-q9b Great to know it! I believe it also goes the same with Mallow / cryptomaniac for example. Gonna take it in consideration for my future deck buildings
Dang Beaverton is 40 miles away from me. Would it be worth it to go to the next one? 🤔
Oof that sounds like a 90 minute drive? After recently driving over an hour to play some GLC I've decided that kind of time commitment isn't worth it for me, but if you do make it down on a Monday I can guarantee you will get some games in, there's always at least a few GLC players there on Mondays.
Update the description with clickable blue URL deck links pls.
@@SeniorAdrian apparently it takes a day for UA-cam to verify my identity and have clickable links, but I will update it as soon as it's available.
@@GLCTV-q9b Good. Subbed.
can you guys please play a 4way free for all glc game. i do not have enough friends to play a 4 way free for all. nor a 3 way. nor a 1v1 for that matter.
Do you have a link to the rules for 4-player GLC?
@@GLCTV-q9b there are no rules. i would assume you would just play as normal but with 4 people going in clockwise or counterclockwise rotation.
also since i got the inspo from mtg commander i also thought each player could have an "ace" pokemon they dont have to search for like in magic the gathering commanderformat's commander. but thats complicating things. for simplicity i would say just play GLC with 4 people.
