I'm more on Zard heavier and Pult splash side. Was rolling that setup 2 weeks before EUIC till now and Tord basically approved that approach with good placement. Somehow better to big basics decks. Of course with shrouded fables mostly everyone will move to Dusclops setup because it solves similar problems and gives more board control.
Congratulations on your wins, and thanks for so generously sharing your list. I've played it six or seven times in Live with only one loss. I generally like your decks a lot, and I usually play them at least a few times, but I've got to say this may well be the greatest deck I've ever played (and I've tried out *lots* of decks by Tord and other habitual winners). It isn't just that it wins a lot: there's also a sort of smoothness to it, that there always seems to be a way forward even when things are bleak. I second the request that you play it on your first channel: I'd love to see it in action.
I played the list from your other video and went back to back win on league challenges myself. It was so broken. I had a lot of fun this weekend. Thank you for what you do 🙏
Been trying out the list you put on Twitter a couple of days ago and there is a learning curve but once you start to understand it, the deck is fantastic. Had a game against C-Pao earlier where I managed to win even though they took 5 prizes before I took any, and even though I had an awful first turn by having to start Rotom and then using Instant Charge before Forest Seal.
Been playing this deck at locals and really struggling against raging bolt. Any other tips for the matchup? I just feel like anything I do they just one shot and I'm back at square one, any set up just gets boss'd up and if I go for a more aggressive start then I just get one shot and I have nothing left to recover with. Any advice would be much appreciated. Love the vid
Devo absolutely bodies this deck. Might try Jamming Tower over vacuum. Also would like a Hisuian Heavy ball. My win rate with this on the ladder so far is pretty bad because I've been hitting a lot of Gardy (or other decks) with devo.
How do you feel about potentially using Radiant Alakazam over Radiant Zard? I've been practicing with a list similar to your first one and it feels like between the limited switch options and low energy count that the RadZard is practically impossible to use.
I personally love radiant alakazam in this deck. Change 200+60 damage to 180+80 is good in some match. Alakazam can be backup attacker for mimikyu too because stallax player always have more than 4 cards in hand.
I respect it bro. Lets be respectful about his decision to play meta. The game is in a place where its only really possible to win consistently with meta decks and Matt has high IQ in this game. I def commend him for choosing to step in the ring and actually play the heavy hitter decks. Time to truly prove yourself bro!!! lets see it!
I don´t get it, everytime we have a player with this deck at our league cups and challenges, they always lose almoste every game. I guess the playbase is diffferent in europe.
Many thanks for announcing this deck composition. The win-rate with my mill deck has never been better against this deck (slightly harder if they can set-up Pidgeot I've managed), the people I've faced seem to struggle with energy management
Hi LDF, thanks for sharing your lists. I do really love it. I do prefer your second list. I purchased the cards but they will not be on time for the next cup. So I stay on Gardy😢. Can you do a video about the 6 Regis, please? My mate still want to play it no matter what. Maybe for Bad deck friday😆 Thanks and congrats for your succes!😁
You can usually deal with 1 devo fine, but 2 devo is very difficult. If you are struggling play a chameleon from paldean fates and dont be as aggro with the candys on dragapult.
I havent lost to a devo deck yet, you can always lean into drakloak on bench with energy to counter play it since Gardevoir is the only devo deck right now, also you have cyllene to recover candy
I literally can never get energy with this damn deck to attack pidgeot always gets taken out before I have a chance to get an attacker going. Just never times out right
Dude, I really think the ladder is programmed to make you fight your worst matchups. I was only fighting Gardevoir ex. I tried this deck, and suddenly ALL MY LADDER MATCHES WAS MIRROR, and obvious, my opponent managed to draw everything he needed and I lost all the matches.
Really good video!! im just getting into ptcg (coming from yugioh) and I haven't seen such in depth analysis about a deck in pokemon before! I've really been liking the Xatu build for dragapult since it feels like it can high roll more but this is a list im going to be trying! thank you!
Looks interesting, im just asking myself how to counter Mimikyu with that deck, there is not a single non.Ex/V attacker and not enough bosses / counters to play around mimikyu
U can attack with drakloak, radzard. Or just work around mimikyu, boss other bench and use phantom dive put 6 dmg on mimikyu. Next turn boss again and there 3 prize
New player here, what's the manaphy actually for? I feel like I never use it properly and just throw it out for no real reason most of the time. I assume it's to counter a specific deck but I can't figure out which one.
Use vs pao, lost box (unless they show a fire energy), gholdengo and gardy as all of those decks have a easy time attacking with greninja or in gardys case scream tail
My man won 3 12-man tournaments with the most broken meta deck that's the easiest to play and is giving "masterclass" expose. Then claims it's a hard deck to play. What a chad.
Love the report! Looks like we both played Tord's list and made similar changes. I went with Roseanne's Backup instead of Cyllene for the consistency. I also cut the TM Evo - I never felt I needed it and the card draw made it hard to get value out of. I've also been considering the Rotom. I think I've just gotten so many Raging Bolts, where the cleffa in the active to can get my opponent on odd prizes while I set up, that I haven't wanted to mess with how consistently I win that matchup. Even though Cleffa is unplayable in Gardy, the Zard has pulled enough weight to make up for it, for me. The Tower stadium feels risky to me, but I do want to try it out and see if smart play and timing with it can make it viable in the list.
i remember asking y u dont use zard and stuff and you, and people kept saying u dont use meta, or because there is more to the game than winning and all this high horse hoohah, i hope they eat their heart outs to this video, good sht! all decks take skill, just stop with that rhetoric
This deck needs skill? Im sorry but dragapult dont need skill espaccialy not with zard. I play nearly only no meta decks. That needs skill. Espacailly when you play Evolution decks, when you have cards like dragapult, monkeydory, simsala and devolution. Everytime i play my zard this feels so easy to play and the deck does nearly the half by it self. Anyway CONGRATS FOR YOUR WINSTREAK!
I would argue all decks take skill and some luck. This deck might be easier in some parts but trying to mesh all 3 stage 2's can be difficult. On the other hand all the main ideas are very intuitive.
@@ldfptcg2022 yes i know. You know i have a different view on meta decks because i play nearly no meta decks. Its realy hard but its also my decission. But i dont wanna talk down you won 3 tournemets bro! Thats awesome!!

NO NOT DRAGOZARD LDF STOP
LDF wants to put up numbers lol
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

It’s a Drag show for zards 😂

Good shit LDF 💪🏽 ... I told em once they see you enter a tournament, just scoop and go home 😂 🤣
OMG I TRIED THIS DECK AND IT COOKED LDF U HAVE COOKED UP A BEAST!!!
Thanks for your thoughts on this deck I’ve had a lot of fun with the list, congrats on the win streak 🎉
You should do another main channel video with this deck. I would love to watch you play out some of the matchups you're describing here.
Currently on an 11 win streak with my deck similar to this on the ladder. I have a feeling I'm gonna start seeing a lot of mirror matches 😂.
Devo absolutely bodies this deck. Might try Jamming Tower over vacuum. Also would like a Hisuian Heavy ball. My win rate with this on the ladder so far is pretty bad because I've been hitting a lot of Gardy (or other decks) with devo.
Anyway to get a switch in the deck? What card is the most cutable for this? Thanks
Do you think Hawlucha is worth fitting in? I go back and forth on it.
LDF, I tried playing this deck but don’t know what my first 2-3 turns should consist of? Could you explain this a little further?
Good for you man! Well earned.

Nah rad zard is way better it lets you have an easier raging bolt matchup
Good deck, but wouldn’t you get the same results using just pure dragapult?

I’m really interested in getting good with the gouging fire/ moon deck. Is it competitively viable?
Everyone says its not, but im on an 11 win streak on ladder with it rn, and I own it IRL and won my locals with it, so I'd say its at least B tier

Do you usually go second with this deck?
Congratulations! List looks solid
What’s your strategy for the mirror match?
deck list in description?

I feel the same way about the game. It's never random decks is always a mirror deck. Especially the higher you climb the ladder.
lol I been playing this deck since twilight came out glad it’s getting some recognition
I recomend putting in 1 copy of Roasanne’s Backup so you can recycle that Neo energy
Nope cyllene is better because it makes you beat control & stall and you can also use cyllene with drakloak
What do you think about this deck after Shrouded Fable come?
This is not a easy deck to pilot but man can it win out of nowhere 😂 amazing list! Might take to a cup after I get a hang of it
How do you counter TM Devo?
If you know they have it try to play around it, you also have cyllene to recover candy
NOOOOOOOOOOOO LDF IS THAT WHERE YOUVE BEEN
What would you take out besides the bibarel line for dusknoir line?
Nothing you dont need dusknoir in here just play zard with dusclops at that point

solid move. I switched to pokemon and have actually been able to build meta relevant decks for UNDER $100. Super budget friendly and fun to play 👌🏽
and against roaring moon deck ?
Any thoughts on this going into shrouded fable?
I think its still good! It can beat zard!
Where is the decklist posted?

Would you ever Neo Upper to attack with like Rotom or Lumineon?
No it doesnt work on them
@ldfptcg2022 Oh right, thanks so much!

Gg ldf. Btw, charpult or dragzard? Names that I made for the deck.
Pultzard!

You attack with drakloak
thank you for the list!

It’s to protect your bench from decks that can use radiant greninja’s attack

Yes to stop Greninja & Scream Tail
I never really use manaphy although I probably should.
Went 3-1 with this list a locals tonight! Really solid!!!
Gratz!
No devolution?
Congrats !
I’ve won about the same with pure deagapult with xatu and pigiot
Did you go first or second?
Do you go 1st against anything else besides regi drago?
I like going first vs cpao, but that one is close tbh, but yeah definitely vs regidrago
thats a Wittle Wark Wury!
no hawlucha?
such a high roll with cylene not convinced but in theory is strong nonetheless maybe is just me I get bad rolls lol
