I created custom settings for Ghost of Tsushima on a GTX 1650 that balance quality and performance, ensuring a stable gaming experience. For those willing to sacrifice some visual fidelity for smoother gameplay, the 60fps settings offer improved performance, although achieving this without frame generation is challenging. The 30fps settings cater to players who prefer to maintain high quality visuals and love to enjoy a console-like experience. By utilising dynamic resolution scaling, which is superior to FSR3 quality mode, the visuals remain nearly native. Given that this game was originally designed for the PS4's 30fps experience, I recommend plugging in a gamepad and immersing yourself in the cinematic journey at 30 frames per second. And one more thing: I've used riva tuner for capping the framerate!

Whoa. FSR frame generation brought my fps from 40s to 70-80 at high setting but its stuttering too much. 80fps feels like below 30s .. does anyone else have this problem?

The new recent driver updates from Nvidia has made my gtx 1650 now much more capable while playing this game. It went from hardly 40 fps to 60fps due to update

Ok so with frame gen enable it's 60+ all the time but sometimes it randomly stuck on infinite loading screen...but turning off frame gen fix the problem so far... hope future update will fix it...
With fsr3 frame generation it's a good change to run gta 6 at 40fps low on 1650 1080p fsr3 frame generation 100%

Limiting frames through riva tuner doesn't look smooth. For smooth 30 frames, it's better to use the nvidia profile inspector and 1/2 VSyn refresh rate and lock for 30 frames in the nvidia profile inspector. In this case, you will get a very smooth 30 frames. I've been playing this way for a long time on gtx1070 and TV. Sorry, if anything, I typed this text through a translator :)

my personal opinion is the game looks slightly better when FG is turned off, i know FG will increase your fps but what i saw while playing this game is that 30fps looks better with FG turned off as compared to 60fps with FG turned on, what do you think Karan ?

Hey Karan I've been playing ghost of tshushima on these settings and I am getting quiet good fps but the main problem is it doesn't feel like I am playing on 60fps it feels like 30 fps when I am playing on constant 60 fps can you resolve this issue if possible please?🙏
its probably because you have frame generation turned on, fg comes with a ton of input lag which makes the game feel like 30fps, you can try turning on "on+boost" on nvidia reflex settings, i personnaly keep fg off and i use the quality preset but with fsr3 quality upscaling and i get about 45 fps avg

The Game started crashing since I applied your quality settings. It says a problem occurred by the display driver due to increasing in game settings. Does anybody know the solution to this? The game crashes every 10 mins and it's such an immersion breaker

Do u play crack? Im playing crack version but i havent faced any issues like that. Make sure to update your driver. Plus 16 gb ram is necessary for smooth experience

Brother, the game runs fine but after 2-3 hours it crashes showing error ( DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ), so set I the resolution to 720p, fsr : off, anti-aliasing : Fsr3AA, framerate : 60hz, vsync : half, Graphics preset : low (medium shadows) , again it crashes after 2-3 hours
