I love what they did with Asuka's character design in 3 and the ending song, but that's it. And all that other shit that wasn't in 3? I bet it would have been cool as hell. In Bends common representation in these meme videos is not that it is genuinely sad like A moon shaped pool, but that it was sad in an "angsty teen" level. I mean, my iron lung, fake plastic trees... A moon shaped pool on the other hand is more like a "clinical depressed adult" sad... At least that's how I see it, lol.
