The drums made me think it was perfect, then the sax hit and I was proven wrong, then "Can you help me kill myself" and I found a new definition of perfection.
I thought that one was more Amnesiac tbh. The piano, jazzy trumpet & drums, and moaning sounds that are hannibals / thom yorke's vocals speaks Life in a Glasshouse to me
"Can you help me kill myself" was a perfect Videotape. Although I think that The Bends should have been that bit where Mumford & Sons was a human centipede.
I think the one for Amnesiac would be more accurate if he kept a few seconds more in where Eric farts into the mic with his naked ass exposed, symbolizing how Amnesiac can make you drain tear sacks but also be very unexpected and selfaware at times
asuka best girl. Listen to OK Computer, it's easily the best and most accessible album of their entire discography, and it's pure excellence. Kid A & In Rainbows are almost just as good, the Bends is great too.
You're welcome. Remember, Asuka needs loving care with a shoulder to lean on, not lewding. But I digress, there is an Eva AMV for the song Idioteque off of Radiohead's Kid A, arguably their best song, and it's incredibly well edited. Anyway, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/VNPj6dzRSOA/v-deo.html
sauron saruman Your words about Asuka indicate to me that you are a man of refined taste and high class. Edit: Good AMV. Still not sure how I feel about the Rebuilds though.
High class things are the only things I can allow to whet my palate. The rebuilds... Eh. 1 was fine for obvious reasons, 2 was EHHHHH. 3 was... I don't even fucking know. I love what they did with Asuka's character design in 3 and the ending song, but that's it. Originally the movie was supposed to be really different judging from this preview at the end of 2: ua-cam.com/video/pOrRhsPPeok/v-deo.html But that didn't happen. Gendo in the desert? And all that other shit that wasn't in 3? I bet it would have been cool as hell. At the end of the day I hope 4 can explain and correct the misdirection of the movies so far, and "happily" end this series in one way or another. Or tie it back in with EoE & the original NGE series depending on whether or not you believe the world reset theory. Who knows. I'm simply miffed that the characters had been gimped to these weird, shallower versions of themselves (I understand the limited time with a movie format makes this sorta necessary but still.)
Yeah hi, my name's Dan Wilson, and this number used to be for a video thing, i got a video from you guys it's called Dog Sitter. Well it gave me a great idea, see. I run Iowa's largest wildlife preserve and I want to produce a video for giraffes. Just imagine how many zoos are in this country, I got an idea you see, it's like this, we're gonna build all these platforms in downtown manhattan, and then we're gonna walk guys around with cameras and it's gonna be like a giraffes night out in manhattan; all these platforms are gonna be 15 feet in the air. We're gonna put it on a DVD and I know those kids like torrents, so I'm gonna bombard every DVD with solar radiation. I think that will create some kind of magnet rod and anyone who tries to copy this video - a beam's gonna fly out into their eyes like Raiders of the Lost Ark. Wait hold on they've come back.
The Aubrey Peeples episode's ending where he pees his pants and tries to hug her while the piano's playing - that just perfectly sums up a moon shaped pool for me.
What I like about these "radiohead described" videos is that they remind me why I love every Radiohead album even if they are all so strange and different.
Albin Lundholm a lot of the lyrics on The Bends are about society and fame how people treat each other. Gwyneth Paltrow is a very famous person who is infamous for being out of touch and awful to work with. Eric=Thom
Charlie Dyell I dig it, it's a lot more clever than just the "oh it's sad" angle every other video I've seen takes so I appreciate you did something different that ties more into the themes of the album. That and I personally never thought it was that said outside of 3 or 4 songs
In Bends common representation in these meme videos is not that it is genuinely sad like A moon shaped pool, but that it was sad in an "angsty teen" level. I mean, my iron lung, fake plastic trees... A moon shaped pool on the other hand is more like a "clinical depressed adult" sad... At least that's how I see it, lol.
The clip for "In Rainbows" is literally just "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi"
I was thinking Videotape with the piano and synchopated drums
“all i need” too
And also jigsaw falling into place but mainly the first 3 listed
wow hannibal can really do a good impression of thom's falsetto
ikr
Fr tho
Yea that really sounded like Thom for a sec lol.
tru
the in rainbows one made me laugh so hard when the drums kicked in it was perfect. great vid
The drums made me think it was perfect, then the sax hit and I was proven wrong, then "Can you help me kill myself" and I found a new definition of perfection.
jigsawsfalling Imediately thought of Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
I‘d say first association is „Reckoner“. But yeah, it’s damn near perfect!
holy shit hahahaha
I thought that one was more Amnesiac tbh. The piano, jazzy trumpet & drums, and moaning sounds that are hannibals / thom yorke's vocals speaks Life in a Glasshouse to me
Damn that's a niche audience
Rory are you a part of it?
Bigger than you would think
Charlie Dyell nah I'm gluten free now
I mean, not really
Radiohead are huge. And i wouldnt be surprised that people who like weird shit like that also like Eric Andre.
for once the in rainbows one is actually fitting. good job
Matthew sHoEbAkAh That scene captured the whole album somehow
Especially the casual "can you help me kill myself" at the end
The in rainbows one could be amnesiac too
666th like hell yeah
1,000th like
I dont even listen to radiohead. But im still gonna watch it cause ill take any excuse to rewatch some eric andre
KING GEEDRA sameeee
Where can I clap to this?
KING GEEDRA it's a great band, you definitely should check it out :)
FACTS
Relatable, have a nice day.
In Rainbows was perfect omfg
So good
So close it makes you question which came first...
"Can you help me kill myself" was that a reference to videotape?
Mr. Danners it had to be lmao
it's like they were parodying it
"Can you help me kill myself" was a perfect Videotape. Although I think that The Bends should have been that bit where Mumford & Sons was a human centipede.
donquixoteofdonkeydukie it was American Authors not Mumford & Sons
Yung Tax Return same difference
@@tam.h different similarities
Haven't laughed this hard in a long fucking time
jschlatt i love your content lovely its great to see you here😪
jschlatt Lol thought you were quoting Elliott Smith for a sec
Same goes for me with your content, good shit.
Hey schaltt
Schlatt is a Radiohead fan 😳
Kid A was spot on
Google show me this guy's balls please
Yung Vulpix I A M F R O M G O O O G L E
the KID A one was so obvious but so good haha
first one should’ve been king of limbs
The Pablo Honey one should've been when he was talking to Lauren Conrad about guitars.
Yeah I was like what the fuck haha
Someone need to Fix this! Only the Pablo Honey part
Though the same xd
Or every Radiohead album
The last one can be pretty much every father john misty album
Jake Morris this is way to spot on.
Woah
Unlike FJM though, A Moon Shaped Pool is good!
In Rainbows was genuinely awesome
bigwilliestyle thank u thank u thank u so much
T Y B G
Y
B
G
The best one
I don't get the one for The Bends but the Kid A one is gold.
AtlanticSpamHammer ayyyy lmao I see you on a lot of music stuff. Aphex Twin mostly, I think.
Thom Yorke was not on board with the fame and how it affected his life I think.
Bugger good point
I feel like these videos never get Amnesiac or In Rainbows right but you pretty much nailed them both
Jeremy Callahan hmmm Amnesiac should have been The Bends tbh
I think the one for Amnesiac would be more accurate if he kept a few seconds more in where Eric farts into the mic with his naked ass exposed, symbolizing how Amnesiac can make you drain tear sacks but also be very unexpected and selfaware at times
The Jonwayne unplugged sketch is so universally genius.
Only accurate In Rainbows take of those I've seen.
the bends should've been tyler the creator crying
Monoscopic yes thank u
Amnesiac is way sadder than the bends
true and amnesiac could've been when eric was trapped in twin peaks in s1
I don't get how is it even considered that sad. It's more of a "WE ARE NOT A 1 HIT SONG BAND / damn, we're popular now huh?" album.
*>"The Bends is sad" meme again*
A Moon Shaped Pool is always my favorite part of these
Real talk: Hannibal does a fantastic Thom Yorke.
As a fan of Radiohead and Eric Andre. This is just mind blowingly awesome and genius.
Lord Motorsports What do you think about The Bends? I didn’t get it
I've never laughed so hard at a man opening a can of beans
why is the in rainbows one so accurate
I wish I had friends that listened to Radiohead who could appreciate this with me
armand duarte WHAT'S UP I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND
let's go see a radiohead cover band together
armand duarte lets do it man
look into the group There There. They are based in NYC.
You know you're doing something right if this is the kind of thing that shows up in your recommended column.
Amazing, though I think that Amnesiac and A Moon Shaped Pool should be switched
Jeff Lebowski I do think the AMSP one does capture the despair and self loathing pretty well
The Amnesiac one fits well necause of the piano
The in rainbows one was perfect but when the trombone kicked in it sounded just like the national anthem
smh
Victor Haaning what
The National Anthem isn't on "In Rainbows"
Victor Haaning i know man xdd i was just pointing out the similarities
Man, with all these videos floating around, I need to actually get around to listening to Radiohead one of these days
asuka best girl.
Listen to OK Computer, it's easily the best and most accessible album of their entire discography, and it's pure excellence. Kid A & In Rainbows are almost just as good, the Bends is great too.
sauron saruman Thanks bud. I'll look into it. And yes, Asuka is, indeed, best girl.
You're welcome. Remember, Asuka needs loving care with a shoulder to lean on, not lewding. But I digress, there is an Eva AMV for the song Idioteque off of Radiohead's Kid A, arguably their best song, and it's incredibly well edited. Anyway, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/VNPj6dzRSOA/v-deo.html

in rainbows and the king of limbs portrayal was the best one i'm crying
In rainbows is too accurate
lynn pehrson thank you lynn
... how
|Jake|C| piano, jazzy drum pattern
this is...borderline experimental
i dont think you understand the whole discography was leading up to this
*_VERY_* cool.
I CLAP I CLAP!!!!! WHEN I KNOW THE REFERENCE
breaking: niche audience becomes even more niche with niche comment

This is the most underrated video of all these Radiohead album memes. Easily the best of them, on top of being the og meme. Hats off to you sir
Why was A Moon Shaped Pool absolutely perfect...
2:53 THAT SHIT SOUNDED FUCKING DOPE OMG HANNIBAL'S VOCALS , THAT SHOULD BE A FULL LENGTH TRACK
The In Rainbows one was on point. When the drums came in I genuinely thought he was playing Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi
This video is a fucking masterpiece
Boo Radley i'm glad u feel that way
Boo Radley
It is!
Goddamn In Rainbows was so perfect
omg in rainbows is so thoroughly accurate
Honestly i think this is the best version of this format ive ever seen they all fit so well
A Moon Shaped Pool: my fucking life.
This is by far the best one ever made. Every single one is accurate in some way even though I don't get the bends one. I love it.
Mike Carpenter thanks bud
This is fucking masterpiece
AMSP was beautiful
This is INCREDIBLE
This was so so well done
thank u kyle
this is the best one of these videos by far
the tyler clip should’ve been for ‘a moon shaped pool’
Do you know what cooking is Eric!??;! It's PAIN!!!!!
@Mister Emm ooooh.....saaayy can you seeee
Yeah I'm Rainbows was so accurate but the final was so....... That kill me
really makes me wanna listen to some radiohead albums again.
I'm so into that Asian pianist.
That Kid A one fucking killed me
a moon shaped pool is so on point
the in rainbows one is finally accurate. it's both happy and sad at the same time.
Moon Shaped Pool meme is underrated
CRYING this is so important
"YEAH MA! IM GLUTEN FREE NOW!"
But T Pain is performing a track from Kid A at the end
Lmfao why the Kid A clip in this kind of videos is the most random stuff, love it.
A Moon Shaped Pool was superb
Dan Tenorio thank you
You know what cooking is it's fucking pain
A Moon Shaped pool was amazing, especially at 4:54 to the the end
Kid A is just perfect.
2:40 Pretty much Weird Fishes EEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDD
Dab Savage Its really quite good, Hannibal's voice and the editing of it really does sound like Thom
You mean Weird Flashes
Gym_Lad6969 Wrongthony Nametano.
Amnesiac is spot on I'm sobbing in utter despair
Oh my god, King of Limbs always gets roasted in these, it's amazing.
How is that In Rainbows one SO on point lmao
This is the best one by FAR
Adriano Vaz thank you
The In Rainbows one not only described the album but also described 15 Step, which essentially was the album tbh
Holy shit, the Kid A one is too fucking good, incredibly accurate
OK Computer is still their greatest album.
In Rainbows and A Moon Shaped Pool were perfect
Is it weird that I’ve never listened to Radiohead but find these album comparison videos amazing?
2:58
That’s way too accurate.
I was having such a bad day. Thank you for uploading this.
Lani Alvarado that makes me so happy to hear. i'm glad i could help
AAAAAAAND THE ROCKETS!
Whoever started this "every Radiohead álbum describe by" on UA-cam I love you
I think the first one should be amnesiac (or as someone else said, king of limbs)
Pablo Honey should've been "EVERYTHING IS IN THE NEWWWWS TODAY"
In rainbows is perfect
So apparently there’s a huge overlap between Eric Andre fans and Radiohead fans and I’m not surprised
holy shit was that t-pain
Idk why you gotta put Pablo honey on blast like that
The In Rainbows one was so damn perfect. Same goes for Kid A and Moon Shaped Pool.
This is brilliant.
30 seconds in i forgot these bits were describing radiohead albums and i was just watching the funny eric andre bits
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT COOKING IS, ERIC, IT'S FUCKING PAIN." this resonates.
This is so underrated
Edit: 37k views still underrated
The vid's been out for a day boi.
2:58
Reckoner
I've never listened to radiohead but I can tell this is accurate
never realized Haniball could become Thom York until he sang Pyramid song @ 2:40
The Aubrey Peeples episode's ending where he pees his pants and tries to hug her while the piano's playing - that just perfectly sums up a moon shaped pool for me.
What I like about these "radiohead described" videos is that they remind me why I love every Radiohead album even if they are all so strange and different.
The Ok Computer one literally sounds like Fitter Happier. I can even imagine it in the voice
The chords for In Rainbows actually sounds like progression that would be on the album
I do not understand the Bends one
Albin Lundholm a lot of the lyrics on The Bends are about society and fame how people treat each other. Gwyneth Paltrow is a very famous person who is infamous for being out of touch and awful to work with. Eric=Thom
Charlie Dyell I dig it, it's a lot more clever than just the "oh it's sad" angle every other video I've seen takes so I appreciate you did something different that ties more into the themes of the album. That and I personally never thought it was that said outside of 3 or 4 songs

A Moon Shaped Pool could have described every The Smiths album
bruh the guy cooking in AMSP is just a fucking amazing performer
Radiohead? Eric Andre? Basically sums up my freshman year
