Luke is such a cool guy and I'm really enjoying watching his adventures. Just a humble kid destined to see the world and mingle with its people, and taking us along for the ride.
jumaa the camel man is amazing! but i also really liked the guy you bought the pyramid from. he gave you a really good price and was very greatefull. he even thanked jumaa the camel man in arabic and made duaa (a prayer) for him after he made the sale. i would’ve given him 50 just because he’s sweet 🥺
Even though many are saying he got scammed, they’re not seeing that in the end, that’s how much he chose to pay out of kindness for the people and looked like he enjoyed the ride and time with Friday and Moses. Whatever the other mens’ motives were, he had good intentions in being generous and that part is great to see in this world. I don’t agree with the camel rides because of what the animals go through, but that’s separate from the “scam” angle.
Emad was so true.. He said " We want the tourist to come back...!!! ". I have very fond memories of visiting this place around 10 years back. I was also ambushed by many people around and ended up in spending more than 100 USD although I was not willing to.

I was just in Egypt a few weeks ago, and watching all the touts in this video made me so anxious. By the end of my trip, I was so over dealing with them and how aggressive they are.
@@jaw5014 yeah I know that now lol but when people are on holiday they are generally more laid back and when a local is being friendly, you just think they are being nice. Then when you realise that they just see you as a walking, talking ATM, you understand to not be so friendly in the future. It’s sad but it’s the reality!

I actually want to give you a very big clap because of how u treated those people I’m an Egyptian and I have never been to the pyramids regarding three times because of the people who will jump in my face trying to sell me something but i try I to brush it off and enjoy , but seeing a tourist in the situation it just boils my blood like just leave the guy alone you don’t have to jump in his face every five seconds let him enjoy that adventure on his own if he needs something he will ask for it I’m really frustrated with the government but I think they will do something very soon about this because the opening of the Grand Egyptian museum or we will embarrass ourselves in front of the whole world with people like this annoying the tourists. The government hasn’t done anything, it’s even worse now. I was there last year in November. Watching and cruising the pyramids was my childhood dream. These touters ruined it so hard for me I was emotionally sore for the next few days. I’m really in love with the country; it was like I had been there for my entire life, I’m from Kurdistan, Iraq. I can say that I’ve lived in Egypt and cruised its streets through the writings of Dr Ahmad Khalid. I was expecting so much and was disappointed most of the time due to these harassments. I hope the next time I come back it’s better and endurable.
The government needs to help eradicate poverty. They wouldnt be hustling so much if they werent in need..both the emad guy and gumaa were so thankful..7 kids..a lotta mouths to feed..i agree for us westerners the hustling is overwhelming but Luke is a trooper and so kind hearted

When people are running their business & being filmed, most act "nicer than usual". It's unfortunate to see how many touts there are at the Pyramids. I had no idea it was that bad till I saw a few travel vlogs. It makes me hesitant to ever visit. "Friday" and the lighter guy seemed nice, but it's unfortunate that they follow you as you walk, never giving up the hustle. It's also sad to see the condition of some of the camels. I saw another vlog where the camel could barely get to it's knees, it was screaming in pain, so sad.

You can literally have a 1 hour camel ride with just 100 or maybe 200 lol😂 what that guy did was just robbery. They’ll ask you where you’re from to know how much they can charge you lol🤣

as a tunisian i feel so bad for my egyptian brothers , in every video of vloggers in egypt it's always the same bad image of scammers and annoying people trying to rip tourists off and that makes me feel bad and offended because i consider every arab country as my own ! i really hope the police and authorities focus on criminals and scammers rather than tourists taking pictures and checking people's phones and their private data ! pyramids of giza are a world landmark not just egypt's and the least u could expect is good security and handpicked policeman , i really wish the best for our brothers in masr om donya

It's unfortunate to see how many touts there are at the Pyramids. I had no idea it was that bad till I saw a few travel vlogs. It makes me hesitant to ever visit.
"Friday" and the lighter guy seemed nice, but it's unfortunate that they follow you as you walk, never giving up the hustle.
It's also sad to see the condition of some of the camels. I saw another vlog where the camel could barely get to it's knees, it was screaming in pain, so sad.

We took a camel ride in Essaouira, Morocco. We rode up to Jimmy Hendrix's castle and it took us the full day. Cost us £5 each.
