A montage of movie & television career highlights of Carl Weathers (1948-2024) who famously played Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky movies 1976-1985 , Colonel Al Dillon in "Predator" 1987 then Sgt.-Lt. Jericho Jackson in "Action Jackson" 1988, Chubbs Peterson in "Happy Gilmore" 1996 & also Greef Karga in the Star Wars series "The Mandalorian" 2019-2023.

Fantastic tribute Carlos, i was so shocked when he died, very surprised he wasn't a bigger star especially with Action Jackson, he should have got more action roles after that film or at least a franchise out of the character, Thanks for the video.

Hi Mark,
His death came out of the blue as he always looked well, i agree Carl Weathers deserved more in action movie roles, he looked good on screen & was a good solid actor & Action Jackson could of been a series of movies, it deserved that & that character could of been the opening he needed.
Sadly missed & the Apollo Creed character will always be a firm fav from his career, so he won"t be forgotten.

Hi Carlos, a lovely tribute video mate, his death really did shock me, Carl was such an underused actor, he could have done so much more, he was incredible in both the Rocky franchise and the first Predator movie and that hand shake with Arnold is an iconic moment in film history. It’s very cool that you met the man in person, I saw that Sly was chocked up on television giving his thoughts on Carl’s passing. Take care mate👍😃👍

Sad & surprised passing of Carl Weathers as he always looked well, a solid actor & i totally agree he deserved a lot more from his career, he looked great on screen & looked the part .
On meeting him, he was a gentleman, a true professional & quite humble, he won"t be forgotten as the Apollo Creed character will live forever from the Rocky & Creed movies. R.I.P Carl Weathers.

Rocky 2 has my favourite fight out of all the Rocky series. Just love the way it's shot Apollo just determined to knock Rocky out and getting frustrated as Rocky keeps coming at him lol the excitement when I first watched this back in the day was electrifying. Screaming at the TV 😂😂😂 Carl weather's plays it perfect a true screen great sorely missed in the rest of the Series a,solid Actor who should be remembered as a legend. Super vid Carlos 👍👍👍

Thanks for watching & commenting, the fight in "Rocky 2" is a great one & i always liked Carl Weathers"s performance as Apollo as he"s proper angry & gets more screen time. A good solid actor & deserved a bit better in action movies in my opinion.
